Augmented Reality (AR) annotations are a powerful way of communication when collaborators cannot be present at the same time in a given environment. However, this situation presents several challenges, for example: how to record the AR annotations for later consumption, how to align virtual and real world in unprepared environments or how to offer the annotations to users with different AR devices. Tämän kandidaatintutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää, kehittävätkö alakoulun kuudennen luokan englannin kielen tehtäväkirjojen tehtävät oppilaiden kriittisen ajattelun taitoja. Kriittistä ajattelua on tutkittu lähes sadan vuoden ajan ja ajattelun taitojen opettamisesta on julkaistu erilaisia käsikirjoja. Aiemmat tutkimukset kriittisestä ajattelusta ja oppimisesta ovat kuitenkin koskeneet pääasiassa yliopisto-opiskelijoita ja aikuisia. This study examined whether work–family support (WF support) buffers permanent and temporary workers similarly against the negative effects of work–family conflict as regard job satisfaction and emotional energy level at work and at home. A total of 1,719 Finnish nurses participated in this study in 2009. The results revealed that high coworker WF support protected temporary workers against the negative effects of high work–family conflict on emotional energy at work. Furthermore, temporary workers with low coworker WF support were at greater risk of job dissatisfaction and diminished emotional energy at home than were their permanent colleagues in the presence of high work–family conflict…

The article presents the verifi cation of a mediation between core self-evaluations (Judge, Locke, Durham, 1997) and work satisfaction, by the means of satisfaction of basic psychological needs at work (Deci et al., 2001). On a two multi-source cross-sectional samples (n1=977, n2=573), using path analysis, it was shown that both the structure of psychological needs at work is of three-factor character and that the postulated mediation relation can be confirmed. The results can be interpreted as a suggestion to look at the role of mediators between the dispositional variables such as core self-evaluations and job satisfaction.
