The presence and significance of individual and collec- tive burials in Final Neolithic/Chalcolithic societies in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula provides new evi- dence for the debate concerning the emergence of social inequalities in this region. Abstract This paper deals with the comparative evaluation of different procedures of salt extraction designed for archaeological ceramics from submarine burial environments. The experimental work was carried out on a particular type of late-Roman cooking ware finds (Pantellerian ware) found in a shipwreck near the shoreline of the Island of Pantelleria (Sicily). The studied ceramic test-pieces were first recognised in terms of bulk characteristics (mineralogy, petrography and chemistry). An advanced Telematic Studio was built at the University of Jyvaskyla to combine the latest technologies for local and distributed work and/or meetings. The objectives were to combine leading edge technologies with ethnographic design principles derived from CSCW and HCI to support a broad range of activities. We informed the design by studies of similar facilities on other sites. The Studio is popular, and it is easy to give glowing accounts of its use. Private and professional lives among primary teachers: how they prioritize? Being a teacher in primary school seems far from allowing the articulation of work and private life in such a comfortable manner as seen in collective beliefs. In order to deconstruct the belief considering teachers as privileged, this contribution proposes, based on empirical results (an online survey with 21,642 responses), to report, first, how primary teachers prioritize their private or professional lives. The paper investigates the collaboration between an artist and an architect who were among the main protagonists of the Italian cultural scene of the first half of the twentieth century: Arturo Dazzi and Marcello Piacentini. Starting from the plaster model which portrays them together and that reproduces a detail of a monumental work conceived by both between 1924 and 1931, the Arco ai Caduti of Genoa, the analysis will briefly focus on the occasions when the two characters collaborated for the realization of monumental civil and religious works until the post-war period.
