Abstract Several new complexes of organotin(IV) moieties with MCln[meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphine], (R2Sn)2MCln[meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)-porphinate]s and (R3Sn)4MCln [meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphinate]s, [M = Fe(III), Mn(III): n = 1, R = Me, n-Bu; Ph; M = Sn(IV): n = 2, R = Me, n-Bu] have been synthesized and their solid state configuration investigated by infrared (IR) and Mossbauer spectroscopy, and by 1H and 13C NMR in D2O. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt PDI A17 (AGR2) izoformas strukturālās un funkcionālās īpašības, pro-onkogēno proteīndisulfīdu izomerāžu (PDI) selektīvo inhibitoru meklēšanas projekta ietvaros. Šīm nolūkam izstrādāt protokolu PDI A17 iegūšanai aktīvā formā, un piemērot proteīnu kodolu magnētiskās rezonanses (KMR) spektroskopijas pētīšanas metodei. Izpētīt saistību starp neaktivēto un aktivēto aziridīn-2-karbonskābes atvasinājumiem un PDI A17 izoformu. Šajā darbā aprakstīta optimizētas PDI A17 izoformas iegūšana, pamatoti izvēlētie apstākļi un metodes proteīna-ligandu saistības testēšanai ar 2D 1H-15N-HSQC eksperimenta palīdzību. A criterion for homeomorphism between closed Haken manifolds

In this paper we consider two connected closed Haken manifolds denoted by M^3 and N^3, with the same Gromov simplicial volume. We give a simple homological criterion to decide when a given map f: M^3-->N^3 between M^3 and N^3 can be changed by a homotopy to a homeomorphism. We then give a convenient process for constructing maps between M^3 and N^3 satisfying the homological hypothesis of the map f.

On the topology of surfaces with the generalised simple lift property.

In this paper, we study the geometry of surfaces with the generalised simple lift property. This work generalises previous results by Bernstein and Tinaglia, and it is motivated by the fact that leaves of a minimal lamination obtained as a limit of a sequence of properly embedded minimal disks satisfy the generalised simple lift property.

The objective of this paper was to study the effects of different drying methods that are: microwave (MW), hot air (HA) and a combination of both (HY), on the 1H-NMR relaxation properties, shrinkage and volatile compounds of Golden Delicious apple slices. Fast field cycling NMR relaxometry reveals that the HA samples dried at different temperatures (65 and 75 °C) appear to contain less restrained water as compared to the sample obtained by MW heating at the same temperatures.
