Chatbots are being used by companies in a variety of ways, such as automatic handling of customer inquiries, automation of mundane tasks internally, smart personal assistance, and as a medium between service providers and users. Master's thesis in Information systems (IS501) Papir og manuelle prosesser blir stadig byttet ut med regelbaserte teknologier som skal effektivisere bedriftene via digitalisering. I 2014 ble det tillatt med heldigitalisert reise og utleggsløsninger, noe som årlig skulle spare det norske næringslivet for 1.2 milliarder kroner. Stadig flere velger derfor å investere i et reise-og-utleggsystem for å kunne effektivisere utleggshåndteringen. Det er også flere fordeler som følger med en slik investering, hvoriblant økt kontroll og kvalitet som fører til redusert antall feilføringer, kortere prosesser og forenkling i alle ledd av utleggshåndteringen.
