Organisational Challenges for School Development and Improvement : The Obstructing Role of Sub-Groups and an Overly Positive School Culture

The purpose of this study has been to identify and analyse obstacles embedded in the school organisation that impede organisational development and improvement. The general findings show that the school structure comprised sub-groups and had characteristics of a diversified organisation. This led to dysfunctional discussions that challenged school development and improvement. And once they do manage to find employment, their jobs tend to be of lower quality. Thus they appear to suffer from a double penalty linked to their origins which, aggravated by the crisis, does not seem to abate over time.

Background: The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is recognised as the common language in disability research. However, personal factors in the ICF are not explicitly coded because of cultural differences that influence physical activity (PA) participation. The ICF suggests using fitness as a personal factor, as well as other psychological assets. Undersøkelser viser at i løpet av de siste ti årene har det blitt færre og færre elever som benytter fellesdusjen etter kroppsøvingstimene. Det nevnes at elever velger å avstå å dusje, eller de dusjer med klær på, evt. tar og vasker seg kjapt under armene og i fjeset i vasken. Cross section for bb¯ production via dielectrons in d + Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV

We report a measurement of e+e− pairs from semileptonic heavy-flavor decays in d + Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV. By exploring the mass and transverse-momentum dependence of the yield, the bottom decay contribution can be isolated from charm, and quantified by comparison to PYTHIA and MC@NLO simulations. The resulting bb¯-production cross section is σdAu bb¯ = 1.37 ± 0.28 (stat) ± 0.46 (syst) mb, which is equivalent to a nucleon-nucleon cross section of σ NN bb = 3.4 ± 0.8 (stat) ± 1.1 (syst) μb. peerReviewed
