Resumen: Objetivo: Identificar la investigación pediátrica española financiada publicada en revistas generales pediátricas incluidas en la WoS (2010-2014) y la de Anales de Pediatría (AP). Explorar la relación de la financiación con el prestigio de las revistas y describir sus condiciones para cumplir los mandatos de acceso abierto. Material y método: La financiación de los artículos publicados en revistas pediátricas generales se identificó utilizando el campo Agencia Financiadora de la WoS y revisando el documento original para AP. Por una parte, identificar y caracterizar los indicadores de producción, citación, impacto y colaboración del área Pediatrics del Journal Citation Reports, y por otra, estudiar a la revista Anales de Pediatría en el contexto de las revistas españolas de otras 20 áreas y especialidades médicas. Autochthonous microalgae grown in municipal wastewaters as a tool for effectively removing nitrogen and phosphorous

Abstract Microalgae have promising applications in wastewater treatment because of their ability to use inorganic compounds such as nitrates and phosphates as nutrients for their growth. Microalgae are applied to the secondary and tertiary bio-treatment with two benefits: i) pollutants removal from wastewater; ii) production of microalgal biomass, that can be exploited as a source of biomass and biomolecules. Measurement of the lifetime difference in the B$_s^0$ system

We present a study of the decay B_s^0 -> J/psi phi We obtain the CP-odd fraction in the final state at time zero, R_perp = 0.16 +/- 0.10 (stat) +/- 0.02 (syst), the average lifetime of the (B_s, B_sbar) system, tau (B_s^0) =1.39^{+0.13}_{-0.16} (stat) ^{+0.01}_{-0.02} (syst) ps, and the relative width difference between the heavy and light mass eigenstates, Delta Gamma/Gamma = (Gamma_L - Gamma_H)/Gamma =0.24^{+0.28}_{-0.38} (stat) ^{+0.03}_{-0.04} (syst). Objective The adamalysin metalloproteinase 15 (ADAM15) has been shown to protect against development of osteoarthritis in mice. Here, we have investigated factors that control ADAM15 levels in cartilage. Design Secretomes from wild-type and Adam15−/− chondrocytes were compared by label-free quantitative mass spectrometry. mRNA was isolated from murine knee joints, either with or without surgical induction of osteoarthritis on male C57BL/6 mice, and the expression of Adam15 and other related genes quantified by RT-qPCR. Nanosensor for Sensitive Detection of the New Psychedelic Drug 25I-NBOMe.

[EN] This work reports the synthesis, characterization, and sensing behavior of a hybrid nanodevice for the detection of the potent abuse drug 25I-NBOMe. The system is based on mesoporous silica nanoparticles, loaded with a fluorescent dye, functionalized with a serotonin derivative and capped with the 5-HT2A receptor antibody. In the presence of 25I-NBOMe the capping antibody is displaced, leading to pore opening and rhodamine B release. This delivery was ascribed to 5-HT2A receptor antibody detachment from the surface due to its stronger coordination with 25I-NBOMe present in the solution.
