Abstract Background Stroke is a major cause of disability and stroke incidence increases with age. Stroke frequently results in permanent limitations of mobility, and, consequently, the need for the help of others in activities of daily living. In order to optimize rehabilitative efforts and their functional outcomes, detailed knowledge of the functional recovery process, regarding mobility, is needed. This article explores the development of the theme of the Life-giving Spring in Byzantine iconography. The path towards its establishment was initiated at the moment when a representation rule, an original convention was set. Thereafter, because of its diffusion in time and space, the theme became enriched by particular mentalities and sensibilities of the epochs and the communities that adopted it as a form of devotion for the Virgin Theotokos. Yrittäjyystutkimuksessa biologinen perimä, yrittäjäksi syntyminen, on siirtynyt taustalle. Painopistettä on suunnattu kasvatukselliseen pohdintaan. Se on tuottanut tutkimusta pääasiassa yrittäjyyden tieteenalalla. Pääpaino on ollut toisaalta aikuisväestön, jo ammatissa toimivien tai työttömien kouluttamisessa yrittäjiksi, toisaalta yrittäjyyden kytkemisessä ammatillisen ja korkean asteen koulutukseen. Yrittäjyyden pedagogisten perusteiden pohdinta on sen sijaan vasta lähtemässä liikkeelle.

Magistra darbs veltīts rakstnieka-emigrantam un krievu literatūrai pirmskara trimdinieka Klopotovska V.V. (Lerī) satīrā izpētei. Par materiālu ir izvēlēti Klopotovska satīriskie raksti avīzē “Сегодня” un tās vakara pielikumā “Сегодня Вечером” par laika posmu no 1920. līdz 1929. gadam. Darbs dalās divās daļās: pirmajā tiek izklāstītas vispārējā teorētiskā informācija par komiskā dabu un komisko literatūrā, vispārējās ziņas par krievu trimdinieku attēlojumu literatūrā kā arī kopējo informāciju par Klopotovski. Standards for the evaluation of management scholars lead more and more to exclude forms of scientific production other than the articles published in international scientific journals. The aim of this paper is to test the validity of these norms by analyzing the production of all university professors in management science, based on the «influen- tial» publications in Google Scholar. The articles published in internation- al journals represent only 35 % of in- fluential publications and collect only 40.2 % of citations.
