Calibration of high voltages at the ppm level by the difference of $$^{83{\mathrm{m}}}$$ 83m Kr conversion electron lines at the KATRIN experiment

The neutrino mass experiment KATRIN requires a stability of 3 ppm for the retarding potential at − 18.6 kV of the main spectrometer. To monitor the stability, two custom-made ultra-precise high-voltage dividers were developed and built in cooperation with the German national metrology institute Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB). Until now, regular absolute calibration of the voltage dividers required bringing the equipment to the specialised metrology laboratory. Un acercamiento al léxico sobre cocina en lengua quechua nos podría proporcionar algunas claves sobre su importancia en tiempos del imperio inca y sobre la que tiene, en el momento presente, la cocina patrimonial del Perú . No hace mucho un hablante de quechua nos decía convencido : " Piru llaqta wayk'uyninqa sumaqnin" (" la cocina de Perú es realmente exquisita").

El primer paso en todo aquello que comprende el ámbito patrimonial es el reconocimiento de la herencia recibida. Luego hay otros: su conservación y ampliación y finalmente su transmisión a los descendientes.Todo esto ha sucedido con el quechua y el aimara en Perú, como si la lengua fuera ajena a los bienes nacionales. Es tan sagrada una piedra de Machu Picchu como una palabra de estas lenguas: tan importante es el lntiwatana, anteayer descubierto y hoy lacerado, como el significado de sus dos lexemas juntos lnti "sol", watay "atar, calcular su recorrido".

Objetivo: Estudio in vivo de la luz dispersa que alcanza la retina en un paciente antes y despues de someterse a una queratoplastia penetrante (o sus siglas en ingles, PKP). Compensated transfer entropy as a tool for reliably estimating information transfer in physiological time series

We present a framework for the estimation of transfer entropy (TE) under the conditions typical of physiological system analysis, featuring short multivariate time series and the presence of instantaneous causality (IC). The framework is based on recognizing that TE can be interpreted as the difference between two conditional entropy (CE) terms, and builds on an efficient CE estimator that compensates for the bias occurring for high dimensional conditioning vectors and follows a sequential embedding procedure whereby the conditioning vectors are formed progressively according to a criterion for CE minimization. On Limits at Infinity of Weighted Sobolev Functions

We study necessary and sufficient conditions for a Muckenhoupt weight $w \in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb R^d)$ that yield almost sure existence of radial, and vertical, limits at infinity for Sobolev functions $u \in W^{1,p}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb R^d,w)$ with a $p$-integrable gradient $|\nabla u|\in L^p(\mathbb R^d,w)$. The question is shown to subtly depend on the sense in which the limit is taken. First, we fully characterize the existence of radial limits. Second, we give essentially sharp sufficient conditions for the existence of vertical limits. In the specific setting of product and radial weights, we give if and only if statements.
