Aproximación a la condición social y económica de los moriscos segorbinos [Segorbe (Alto Palancia)] a través del estudio de los arrendamientos de sus antiguas propiedades y bienes durante el trienio 1610 a 1612. Se aborda la situación de Segorbe en el momento de publicarse el decreto de expulsión de septiembre de 1609. Se analizan, asimismo, las deudas contraídas y los préstamos concertados por los moriscos. En la Europa del siglo XVI los valores caballerescos, fundamento de la ética de la aristocracia militar, se enriquecieron con los ideales cortesanos. En este artículo estudiamos la difusión de esos ideales entre los oficiales del ejército de la Monarquía hispánica en los diversos reinos de la España Mediterránea.
