Oggetto dell'indagine è la non contestazione nel processo del lavoro e nel processo in generale, nell'ambito delle possibili difese della parte. La sentenza della Suprema Corte 28 febbraio 2014, n. 4854, che si colloca nel solco di un diffuso orientamento giurisprudenziale in materia di c.d. rito del lavoro, offre lo spunto per una riflessione di ordine generale sui limiti della specifica contestazione e delle conseguenze della sua omissione, nel generale sistema di preclusioni del processo civile. Essa offre, inoltre, l’occasione per una ricollocazione in chiave sistematica della non contestazione nell’ambito delle c.d. eccezioni, e nella sistematica del diritto processuale.

This article proposes a study of the traditions in defensive architecture that concurred in the projects designed by Spanish military engineers for the fortification of the Valencian frontier in 1648 and 1649, in the context of the War of Catalonia (1640-1652). For this it is essential to follow the route of the Valencian adaptations to the military revolution in the matter of fortifications throughout the sixteenth century and compare them with those brought to Valencia in 1641 by the Marquis of Leganes and his engineers from the school of Milan.

International audience; L’esclavage a été aboli définitivement en France en 1848, soit plus d’un demi-siècle après la Déclaration des droits de l’homme et du citoyen de 1789, par décrets du Gouvernement provisoire de la IIème République naissante. En effet, le principe de l’abolition immédiate est proclamé dès le 4 mars 1848 par un décret rédigé par Victor Schœlcher rentré en France seulement la veille. Afin de préparer les mesures nécessaires pour en assurer son application, une Commission d’abolition présidée par Schœlcher est instituée.
