Hovedoppgave i Industriell økonomi og informasjonsledelse, Høgskolen i Agder, Grimstad Vi har i denne oppgaven sett på muligheten til å utvikle verdikjeden oppstrøms for en produsent av trekonstruksjoner. Trebyggeriet AS er en nyetablert bedrift lokalisert på Kjetså i Evje og Hornnes kommune. I produksjonen benyttes en datastyrt pre-cut maskin til å forme trelasten. Dette er en teknologi som ikke har vært benyttet før i Norge, men som har utviklet seg over en 10 – 15 års periode i Mellom-Europa. An ICT manager in the municipality was first contacted to obtain existing data that was available in these areas.
