Este trabajo presenta tres actividades didácticas y una propuesta de evaluación para mejorar el aprendizaje del vocabulario científico en contextos de educación bilingüe. Investigaciones recientes han demostrado que el uso de imágenes es una manera natural y útil de adquirir el vocabulario en una L2 (Comesaña et al. , 2009; Mayén, 2013). Este trabajo estudia cómo de sólida puede ser la prueba del riesgo de reincidencia hecha con herramientas estructuradas de valoración del riesgo cuando la ley exige tener en cuenta el pronóstico de reincidencia a la hora de tomar decisiones restrictivas de derechos del acusado o condenado. The project of study of earthen structures known as geoglyphs led by the universities of Valencia (Spain) and the Federal University of Acre (Rio Branco, Brazil) has different objectives but the main one, beyond, the study of the structures is the implementation of plans that allow the necessary protection of these monuments having an impact on local communities. Psychometric evaluations of the Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R), based on nine samples

The aim of this study was to examine psychometric properties of the Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R).The LOT-R was administered in five clinical samples, three samples of the adult general population, and one sample of adolescents. Seven of the studies were performed in Germany and two in Colombia. All of the sample sizes were above 300.Cronbach's alpha coefficients were between .57 and .75 for the eight adult samples, the correlations between the scales optimism and pessimism ranged from -.05 to -.37, and the coefficients of temporal stability (test-retest correlations) of the scales ranged from .43 to .69. Dynamic relations among COVID-19-related media exposure and worries during the COVID-19 pandemic

Objectives: This study investigated how COVID-19-related media exposure during the COVID-19 crisis was related to same-day and next-day COVID-19-related worries. Design: A 21-day diary study was conducted between late March and late April 2020 in Germany. Main Outcome Measures: Hypotheses were tested in a sample of 561 participants (Mage = 42.79, SDage = 6.12). Every evening, participants indicated their exposure to COVID-19-related media (e.g., TV, print, online) and their COVID-19-related worries.
