La recherche a été menée sur plusieurs fronts ces dernières campagnes pour la lutte durable contre les bioagresseurs du riz pluvial. Elle s'est orientée vers l'exploitation de la biodiversité des plantes et la recherche de systèmes de culture pour gérer les " vers blancs " ou " scarabées noirs " (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae), les foreurs de tiges, la pyriculariose et le striga. Les résultats des essais réalisés avec le projet BVlac sur l'utilisation du champignon entomopathogène Metarhizium anisopliae ainsi que les résultats des essais menés avec l'ONG Tafa sur la lutte contre le striga dans différents systèmes de culture seront présentés par ailleurs. Hyvinvointi-, hius- ja kauneusalan ammatteihin opiskelevat kriittisinä nettilukijoina

Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin ammatillisen koulutuksen opiskelijoiden (hyvinvointi-, hius- ja kauneusala) kriittistä nettilukutaitoa. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin aikaisemman tiedon, tekstien lukemisjärjestyksen ja perustelutaitojen yhteyttä siihen, kuinka hyvin opiskelijat osasivat arvioida luotettavia (varmentaminen) ja epäluotettavia (kyseenalaistaminen) nettitekstejä sekä erottaa luotettavat tekstit epäluotettavista. Tutkimukseen osallistui 82 opiskelijaa, joista valtaosa oli 15–18-vuotiaita. Opiskelijat lukivat ja arvioivat kaksi luotettavaa ja kaksi epäluotettavaa tekstiä sokerin vaikutuksista. La historiografía viene proponiendo un doble modelo en lo que concierne a la imbricación de las instituciones políticas locales en el gobierno de las aguas y la gestión hidráulica realizada: acequias sometidas a control municipal, en las que correspondía a los ediles del consitorio adoptar decisiones relevantes y ejercer jurisdicción, frente a una minoría exigua de macrosistemas en los que los colectivos de regantes realizaron una gestión autónoma. Centile estimation for a proportion response variable.

This paper introduces two general models for computing centiles when the response variable Y can take values between 0 and 1, inclusive of 0 or 1. The models developed are more flexible alternatives to the beta inflated distribution. The first proposed model employs a flexible four parameter logit skew Student t (logitSST) distribution to model the response variable Y on the unit interval (0, 1), excluding 0 and 1. This model is then extended to the inflated logitSST distribution for Y on the unit interval, including 1. Zero-shot Semantic Segmentation using Relation Network

Zero-shot learning (ZSL) is widely studied in recent years to solve the problem of lacking annotations. Currently, most studies on ZSL are for image classification and object detection. But, zero-shot semantic segmentation, pixel level classification, is still at its early stage. Therefore, this work proposes to extend a zero-shot image classification model, Relation Network (RN), to semantic segmentation tasks. We modified the structure of RN based on other state-of-the-arts semantic segmentation models (i.e. U-Net and DeepLab) and utilizes word embeddings from Caltech-UCSD Birds 200-2011 attributes and natural language processing models (i.e. word2vec and fastText).
