Autor y lector en la traducción catalana del Decamerón de Boccaccio: análisis de una asimilación

Resumen: Ese trabajo analiza la traduccion catalana del Decameron de 1429 centrandose en las particularidades de la narrativa, especialmente la relacion entre el autor y el lector. Sin dejar de lado aspectos propios de la traduccion en aquel momento, se enfatiza el valor de este texto, en ocasiones considerado una mera adaptacion, como una obra humanistica, un documento de la asimilacion del humanismo italiano en la Corona de Aragon. Riassunto: La recente pubblicazione in Italia della traduzione de La llegenda del llibreter assassi di Ramon Miquel i Planas offre lo spunto per un confronto con alcune precedenti traduzioni in castigliano e per una breve riflessione di metodo sulla traduzione. Search for photonic signatures of gauge-mediated supersymmetry in 8TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

A search is presented for photonic signatures motivated by generalized models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. This search makes use of 20.3  fb[superscript −1] of proton-proton collision data at √s = 8  TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, and explores models dominated by both strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric partner states. Four experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon, lepton, b-quark jet, or jet activity not associated with any specific underlying quark flavor. Understanding tungsten erosion during inter/intra-ELM periods in He-dominated JET-ILW plasmas

Tungsten erosion was quantified during inter/intra-ELM periods in He-dominated JET-ILW plasmas by optical emission spectroscopy. The intra-ELM tungsten sputtering in helium plasmas, which dominates the total W source, prevails by a factor of about 4 over inter-ELM sputtering in the investigated ELM frequency range from 90 Hz-120 Hz. He ions are mainly responsible for the W erosion during the ELMs in He plasmas. The strong in/out asymmetry of the ELM-induced W erosion is observed in He plasmas even at high ELM frequencies beyond 100 Hz. In Ohmic/L-mode plasmas and during the H-mode inter-ELM plasma phases both He2+ and Be2+ ionic species are major contributors to the W erosion. Their contrib…

Discovery of an Exceptionally Strong β -Decay Transition of $^{20}$F and Implications for the Fate of Intermediate-Mass Stars

2019

A significant fraction of stars between 7-11 solar masses are thought to become supernovae, but the explosion mechanism is unclear. The answer depends critically on the rate of electron capture on $^{20}$Ne in the degenerate oxygen-neon stellar core. However, due to the unknown strength of the transition between the ground states of $^{20}$Ne and $^{20}$F, it has not previously been possible to fully constrain the rate. By measuring the transition, we have established that its strength is exceptionally large and enhances the capture rate by several orders of magnitude. En este trabajo se han desarrollado varias aplicaciones, empleando técnicas de multiplexado, dentro de los campos del procesado óptico de imágenes y del reconocimiento óptico de objetos. En concreto, empleando el multiplexado en longitud de onda como técnica que permite aumentar el caudal de información que se puede transmitir a través de un sistema óptico, hemos extendido las capacidades de reconocimiento de un correlador óptico iluminado con luz blanca al caso de la invariancia a escala del objeto de referencia hasta una relación de escalas de 2:1.
