One of the main principles of arbitration is that the arbitral tribunal must be independent, impartial, neutral and diligent in carrying out its duties throughout the arbitration proceedings. However, the sophistication and complexity of arbitration as an extra-judicial dispute resolution procedure can undermine confidence in the efficiency of the system. In this regard, the professional (arbitral) ethics and the honourability of the arbitrator are of major importance. Public policy in families and successions regulations : the case of ?talaq?

According to EU Regulations on transnational families and successions, a foreign rule remains without effect if it is deemed contrary to the so-called public policy (ordre public) of the forum?s legal system. As a consequence, judges have to evaluate whether the application of foreign law is incompatible with fundamental principles of the domestic law, especially whether it would constitute a violation against human rights. An outstanding controversial issue is today represented by Islamic repudiation (talaq): two contrasting Italian judicial decisions of August 2020 may illustrate how difficult it could be to determine what public policy is.

AbstractMicroRNA are small non-coding RNAs that post-transcriptionally regulate the expression levels of messenger RNAs. MicroRNA regulation activity depends on the recognition of binding sites located on mRNA molecules. ComiR is a web tool realized to predict the targets of a set of microRNAs, starting from their expression profile. Abstract Dianthus superbus is one of the most endangered species in Latvia and is on the verge of local extinction. Therefore, the aim of this study was to inventory previously identified populations of D. superbus in Latvia and to develop activities to conserve this species in accordance with the results obtained in situ. Expeditions on 18 previously documented locations, according to the data of Nature Conservation Agency, revealed only three existing D. superbus localities in Latvia with a significant number of specimens located in the Latgale region near Silenieki. Timing of the accreting millisecond pulsar IGR J17591-2342: evidence of spin-down during accretion

We report on the phase-coherent timing analysis of the accreting millisecond X-ray pulsar IGR J17591-2342, using Neutron Star Interior Composition Explorer (NICER) data taken during the outburst of the source between 2018 August 15 and 2018 October 17. We obtain an updated orbital solution of the binary system. We investigate the evolution of the neutron star spin frequency during the outburst, reporting a refined estimate of the spin frequency and the first estimate of the spin frequency derivative ($\dot{\nu} \sim -7\times 10^{-14}$ Hz s$^{-1}$), confirmed independently from the modelling of the fundamental frequency and its first harmonic.
