Physics education research: A research subfield of physics with gender parity

Women currently outnumber men in obtaining undergraduate degrees but are underrepresented within STEM fields. However, women’s representation varies by STEM field, and even further by STEM subfield. One field that has held a persistent low representation of women is physics. This paper seeks to uncover the truth behind an anecdotal claim that the subfield of physics education research (PER) has a higher representation of women than physics as a whole. Graduate students in PER completed an online survey to assess their demographics, trajectory in PER, climate experiences, and goals for their research. Muchas son las propuestas para llevar la lectura de un poema a un aula, aunque los resultados, a pesar de las buenas voluntades, no siempre son muy satisfactorios, quizá porque sea parte de una idea algo equivocada de lo que es un texto poético y de lo que este requiere. En este trabajo se pretende revisar todo ello, valorando, además, la idoneidad de un poema del poeta Leopoldo de Luis, sobre un partido de fútbol. Overgangen fra lærerutdanning til lærerarbeid omtales i forskningen både som utfordrende og som en mulighet for profesjonell utvikling. Denne studien undersøker hvordan nyutdannede læreres overgang fra utdanning til arbeid kan forstås som en danningsprosess. Studien baserer seg på ti semistrukturerte intervjuer med fem deltakere (ett i siste semester på grunnskolelærerutdanningen og ett etter de første tre månedene i arbeid). This communication shows an action carried out with a group of 62 students on the degree of kindergarten teachers in the field of sustainability training. a survey open format was intended to inquire about their perceptions of what it means for them and they sustainability, and the actions needed to achieve sustainable development actions was used. The initial findings of the study show that teachers in training participant, has an incomplete and biased knowledge on sustainable development and on the players that must be involved in finding solutions and actions to implement.
