In the “Sicilian study on juvenile myocardial infarction,” we had evaluated plasma viscosity (PV) and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) at the age of ⩽45 years. Now, we examined the relationship between these 2 parameters in 120 subjects (109 men and 11 women) aged ⩽45 years with recent AMI. <p>Coronary artery fistulas are rare anatomic abnormalities of the coronary arteries present in 0.002% of the general population and represent 14% of all anomalies of coronary arteries. Their clinical relevance focuses mainly on the mechanism of "coronary steal phenomenon”, causing myocardial functional ischemia even in the absence of stenosis, hence common symptoms are angina or dyspnea. Small size fistulas are mostly asymptomatic and have excellent prognosis if managed medically with regular follow-up consisting also in echocardiography every 2-5 years. Treatment of pregnancy-related hypertensive disorders, such as preeclampsia (PE), remain a challenging problem in obstetrics. Typically, aggressive antihypertensive drug treatment options are avoided to prevent pharmacological-induced hypotension. Another major concern of administering antihypertensive drugs during pregnancy is possible adverse fetal outcome. In addition, management of hypertension during pregnancy in chronic hypertensive patients or in patients with prior kidney problems are carefully considered. O objetivo do presente artigo é duplo: em primeiro lugar, problematizar a Entstehungsgeschichte ou história do surgimento da filosofia crítica a partir de um expediente interpretativo bem definido, a saber, a identificação de certos motivos críticos que auxiliam na determinação de continuidades e rupturas no desenrolar do pensamento de Kant. Em segundo lugar, analisar a primeira obra de Kant, os Pensamentos sobre a verdadeira estimação das forças vivas, buscando aplicar a ela o expediente interpretativo discutido anteriormente e, assim, reconhecer alguns motivos críticos que definem importantes linhas de continuidade na filosofia de Kant.
