A través de una selección de testamentos e inventarios de Murcia, Cartagena y Caravaca de los reinados de Carlos III y Carlos IV, se analiza el tipo de decoración de las salas de recibo de las viviendas de los acaudalados. La influencia que las modas extranjeras tuvieron en esta época, tanto en lo relativo a las relaciones sociales como en la apariencia y la decoración de interiores, repercutió en las casas de los aristócratas y altos funcionarios del entorno murciano. The public–private sector wage gap in Latvia

This study investigates the public-private sector wage gap in Latvia using microdata from the labour force survey. The severity of public sector wage cuts employed as a response to the economic crisis and subsequent recovery provides a test bed to analyse whether and how the public-private sector wage gap has adjusted after consolidation-driven wage cuts. Findings reveal that the observed wage gap is slightly in favour of the public sector; however, once differences in individual characteristics and selection effects are considered, results point to a private sector wage premium. Length Scale of the Spin Seebeck Effect

We investigate the origin of the spin Seebeck effect in yttrium iron garnet (YIG) samples for film thicknesses from 20 nm to 50  μm at room temperature and 50 K. Our results reveal a characteristic increase of the longitudinal spin Seebeck effect amplitude with the thickness of the insulating ferrimagnetic YIG, which levels off at a critical thickness that increases with decreasing temperature. The observed behavior cannot be explained as an interface effect or by variations of the material parameters. Design criteria of tubular linear induction motors and generators: A prototype realization and its characterization

In this paper a mathematical model of tubular linear induction machines (TLIM) with hollowed induced part is recalled. Moreover the design criteria of a TLIM with hollowed iron induced part are presented as well as the technological processes to be adopted and the choice of materials to construct the various parts. The methodologies for mechanical assembling and electric wiring are considered too. A prototype with bimetallic induced part has been designed and built. Finally some experimental results on electrical and mechanical variables, when the machines are used as motors, are shown.

Resumen: Partiendo de la existencia de un propósito de autodefensa en el origen de Lo somni, y tomando como base la evidente formación retórica y dictaminal de su autor, es posible señalar numerosos elementos que se encuadran dentro del género retórico, concretamente del forense o judicial, y también otros pertenecientes al ars dictaminis, ambos géneros cargados de aspectos formales y a priori difícilmente adaptables a un texto de ficción literaria. En 1750, la ciudad de Barcelona obsequió a la infanta María Antonia Fernanda de Borbón tres álbumes con los diseños de las 'cuadrillas de naciones', realizados por el pintor Francesc Tramulles, que amenizaron los actos de entretenimiento que se le ofreció a su paso por la ciudad con motivo de su matrimonio con Vittorio Amedeo de Saboya. Desconocidos hasta la fecha, los autores profundizan en su singularidad gracias a la localización y estudio de dos de ellos .
