En este artículo se ofrece un primer panorama acerca de la difusión y repercusión de las novelas de Sebastiano Erizzo y Niccolò Granucci en el Siglo de Oro, en particular de dos de sus obras principales, Le sei giornate (1567) y La piacevol notte et lieto giorno (1574). Las características de los ejemplares localizados y los datos recabados en torno a la circulación de ambas obras por tierras españolas permiten suponer que sus novelas, cuyo carácter moralista probablemente favoreciese su difusión, ejercieron un cierto influjo en la literatura áurea. Phosphorous doping and drawing effects on the Raman spectroscopic properties of O=P bond in silica-based fiber and preform.

International audience; We report an experimental study of the doping and drawing effects on the Raman activities of phosphorus (P)-doped silica-based optical fiber and its related preform. Our data reveal a high sensitivity level in the full width at half maximum value of the 1330 cm−1 (O = P) Raman band to the P-doping level. Its increase with the P doping level does not clash with an increase in the disorder of the O = P surrendering matrix. In addition, we observe that in the central core region of the sample (higher doping level), the drawing process decreases the relative band amplitude. Resumen El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estudiar el efecto que tienen las motivaciones para consultar y escribir e-WOM sobre el compromiso con el e-WOM y la influencia de dicho compromiso en la adopción del e-WOM consultado. Para analizar estas relaciones, se realizó una investigación empírica aplicada en el contexto de los restaurantes. El ámbito geográfico fue Ecuador, con una muestra de 461 consumidores. The cave bear was a prominent member of the Upper Pleistocene fauna in Eurasia. While breakthroughs were recently achieved with respect to its phylogeny using ancient DNA techniques, it is still challenging to date cave bear fossils beyond the radiocarbon age range. Without an accurate and precise chronological framework, however, key questions regarding the palaeoecology cannot be addressed, such as the extent to which large climate swings during the last glacial affected the habitat and possibly even conditioned the final extinction of this mammal. The near-repeat phenomenon usually occurs with any crime. Hence, to implement preventive measures, it is of great interest to figure out at which spatio-temporal scale crimes are more likely to be repeated by offenders. The Knox test is the most used statistical tool for evaluating the presence of the near-repeat phenomenon given a dataset of crimes that are located in space and time. The classic version of this test assumes that crime risk is homogeneous in both space and time, although this assumption rarely holds in reality. State-space formulation of scalar Preisach hysteresis model for rapid computation in time domain

A state-space formulation of classical scalar Preisach model (CSPM) of hysteresis is proposed. The introduced state dynamics and memory interface allow to use the state equation, which is rapid in calculation, instead of the original Preisach equation. The main benefit of the proposed modeling approach is the reduced computational effort which requires only a single integration over the instantaneous line segment in the Preisach plane. Numerical evaluations of the computation time and model accuracy are provided in comparison to the CSPM which is taken as a reference model.
On asymmetric periodic solutions in relay feedback systems

Abstract Asymmetric self-excited periodic motions or periodic solutions which are produced by relay feedback systems that have symmetric characteristics are studied in the paper. Two different mechanisms of producing an asymmetric oscillation by a system with symmetric properties are noted and analyzed by the locus of a perturbed relay system (LPRS) method. Bifurcation between the ability to excite symmetric and asymmetric oscillation with variation of system parameters is analyzed. An algorithm of finding asymmetric solutions is proposed.
