Arts-based practices can support sustainability, combined with research that points out needs for intervention. We practiced environmental sensitivity and dialogic art with fifth-grade school pupils as part of an International Socially Engaged Art Symposium (ISEAS2019). Using arts-based action research methodology, our case study focused on the opportunities of arts-based environmental education in advancing the management of meadows and wood-pastures. BackgroundThe aim of the study was to examine the development and structural validation of the Polish version of the Light Triad Scale, which measures three factors: Faith in Humanity, Humanism, and Kantianism. The title compound is constructed from two aromatic rings (3-bromo-4-fluorophenyl and 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl), which are linked by a C=C—C(=O)—C enone bridge and form a dihedral angle of 17.91 (17)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds enclosing rings of (14) graph-set motif to form layers parallel to (10).

Artikkelissa tarkastellaan vuoden 1918 työväenperinteessä hahmottuvaa naiskuvaa keskittyen kuolemaa käsitteleviin lauluihin ja runoihin. Aineisto koostuu arkistoaineistosta ja kirjoittajan isoisän sotilasmuistiosta. Punaiset laulut ja runot ovat luokkataistelun aseita ja jo sellaisenaan kiistävää folklorea. Niiden faattinen funktio oli motivoida yksilöt kollektiiviksi sekä ylläpitää ja vahvistaa ryhmän yhteistä ideologista identiteettiä. Niiden keskeiset teemat ovatkin juuri ideologia ja kuolema. Casual spectators and die-hard fans’ reactions to their team defeat: A look at the role of territorial identification in elite French rugby

This research investigated the role of two foci of identification (team and territory) on identity management strategies used by sport followers in the particular context of elite French rugby union. In study 1 which dealt with casual spectators (N = 153), the results corroborated numerous studies conducted in the North-American context and showed that team identification constitutes a strong driver for offensive and loyalty reactions. In study 2 which dealt with die-hard fans (N = 64), it appeared that team identification seems to be the best predictor of team loyalty strategy whereas territorial identification seems to be the first predictor of offensive strategies. Tutkielmassani analysoin ikonografian avulla japanilaisen taiteilijan Toshio Saekin töitä Japanin modernin ajan modan gaaru (suom. moderni tyttö)-ilmiön valossa. Tukielma keskittyy modan gaaruun, joka oli Japanin massamedian luoma ilmiö uudesta radikaalista naisesta. Modan gaaru syntyi modernin ajan historiallisten sekä sosiaalisten muutosten seurauksena ja vaikutti myös maan poliittiseen ilmapiiriin. Tutkielma käsittelee myös ero guro nansensu-ilmiötä, shunga-taidetta ja japanilaisten naisten aseman historiaa ja kehitystä.
