Riassunto: La recente pubblicazione in Italia della traduzione de La llegenda del llibreter assassi di Ramon Miquel i Planas offre lo spunto per un confronto con alcune precedenti traduzioni in castigliano e per una breve riflessione di metodo sulla traduzione. Quinto Orazio Flacco è fra i più tradotti auctores latini nelle culture letterarie d’Europa, soprattutto nei secoli XVI, XVII, XVIII. La ricostruzione repertoriale e critica delle traduzioni che hanno avuto per oggetto il suo corpus si offre, quindi, come documento particolarmente significativo della fortuna traduttoria di un mito letterario, in quanto attesta il rapporto di imitatio/aemulatio che numerosi autori hanno stabilito con il modello nel momento in cui hanno deciso di assimilarlo, attraverso le traduzioni, alle lingue e alle culture nazionali cui essi appartengono.

Characteristics of the translation product are often used in translation process research as predictors for cognitive load, and by extension translation difficulty. The article shows the results of a comparative analysis of the complaints management mechanisms offered by ten European Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) systems on their corporate websites. Using a qualitative methodology, it maps the procedures and evaluates the visibility, transparency and dissemination of results. The findings show, firstly, great diversity in terms of responsible election and management, despite the converging media governance. A Band Model of Cambium Development: Opportunities and Prospects

More than 60% of tree phytomass is concentrated in stem wood, which is the result of periodic activity of the cambium. Nevertheless, there are few attempts to quantitatively describe cambium dynamics. In this study, we develop a state-of-the-art band model of cambium development, based on the kinetic heterogeneity of the cambial zone and the connectivity of the cell structure. The model describes seasonal cambium development based on an exponential function under climate forcing which can be effectively used to estimate the seasonal cell production for individual trees. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastellaan suomalaisia taikuutta käsitteleviä tutkimuksia 1700-luvulta 1920-luvulle. Painopiste on väitöskirjoissa, mutta myös muita tutkimuksia on otettu tarkasteltavaksi mikäli ne ovat olleet kokonaisuuden kannalta olennaisia. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, kuinka taikuutta on Suomessa tutkittu ja kuinka tutkijat ovat taikuuteen suhtautuneet.
