Mannlige vernepleiere og deres yrkesvalg

Myndighetene formulerte målet om et kjønnsblandet arbeidsliv for ti år siden. Graden av måloppnåelse for enkelte yrkesgrupper er noe belyst, men det finnes lite kjønnsspesifikk forskning innen vernepleieryrket. Formålet med denne studien har vært å undersøke og beskrive hva som kjennetegner mannlige vernepleiere og deres yrkesvalg. I tillegg har vi undersøkt hvilke faktorer hos menn som har sammenheng med å ta et bevisst valg om å bli vernepleier. Resultatene er basert på data fra SSB og en spørreundersøkelse blant mannlige vernepleiere (n=487). Tall fra SSB tyder på at aldersfordelingen blant mannlige vernepleiere kan være i endring. The church of Santa Maria di Campogrosso, long abandoned, is now a ruin. However, this church represents an important historical and architectural witness to the presence of “basiliani” monks in eastern Sicily, much less documented than the western Sicily’s one. Moreover, the story of this monument is linked to a very important episode, the Norman conquest of Sicily with the birth of the so-called "arabo-normanna" architecture. The essay describes the history of the church between abandonment, restoration and archaeological studies until the present.

En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados preliminares de las intervenciones arqueologicas de salvamento realizadas sobre el yacimiento andalusi denominado Alfar de la Partida de la Rosana descubierto en el ano 2005. Se trata de un taller de produccion ceramica musulman localizado en el margen izquierdo del rio Palancia, al norte de la localidad de Sagunto (Valencia, Espana) datado preliminarmente en torno a los siglos X y XI, en base a las producciones que amortizan las estructuras decombustion. A recent and new Republican denarius restored by Trajan is studied and discussed. The issue is extremely rare as no image of it is known so far. It was found in Carcaboso, Cáceres (Conventus Emeritensis, Lusitania), very near of the road known as Vía de la Plata, very surely in a Roman mansio.

Se presenta el estudio de un total de cinco yacimientos localizados en el tramo superior del Riu de les Coces (Alt Maestral, Castellón). Partiendo de los problemas derivados de la naturaleza de la información manejada se aborda su contextualización en el marco de la secuencia arqueológica y del hábitat del Holoceno inicial en el Maestrazgo y en el contexto regional. Los resultados obtenidos permiten por un lado, relativizar la idea de una secuencia local continua e ininterrumpida desde el Magdaleniense superior hasta el Mesolítico Reciente, y por otro. la sucesión de dos modelos diferentes de ocupación del territorio.

Uskonyhteisöjen toimesta on perustettu hautausmaita, jotta yhteisöjen kuolleet jäsenet saadaan sijoitettua johonkin yhteisössä vallitsevien tapojen ja käytänteiden mukaisesti. Tämän tutkimuksen kohde, Jyväskylän Vanha hautausmaa perustettiin vuonna 1837 kehittyvän ja laajentuvan kaupungin laitamille huolehtimaan yhteisön edesmenneistä jäsenistä. Tässä tutkimuksessa tutkitaan Vanhan hautausmaan vaiheita vuosien 1956–1971 välisenä aikana. Tavoitteena on selvittää miten ja miksi hautausmaata pidettiin yllä konkreettisena tilana, ketkä sitä pitivät yllä ja miten siellä toimittiin suhteessa hautausmaiden tehtäviin. Dyes of a Shadow Theatre: Investigating Tholu Bommalu Indian Puppets through a Highly Sensitive Multi-Spectroscopic Approach

Tholu Bommalu are typical leather puppets of the traditional Indian shadow theatre. Two of these objects are part of a collection in the International Puppets Museum “Antonio Pasqualino” (Palermo, Sicily, Italy), which can count on one hundred-seventy-three of artifacts. These Indian puppets were investigated to obtain information related to the use of dyes for their manufacturing through a multi-technical approach exploiting the combination of highly sensitive spectroscopic techniques. Wet cotton stubbons were used to entrap small particles of dyes on the fibers from the art objects for the consequent analyses. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastelen terveyssisar Tytti Huotarin tekemää työtä pienessä lappilaisessa Pelkosenniemen kunnassa 1930-luvun lopulta 1960-luvun alkuun saakka. Huotari on isoäitini ja hän kirjoitti vuosia työuransa jälkeen muistelmat, joissa hän paneutuu kuvaamaan tekemäänsä työtä ja siihen vaikuttaneita olosuhteita. Nämä muistelmat muodostavat toisen puolen tutkimuksen lähdeaineistosta. Lisäksi täydennän ammatinharjoittajan itsensä muistoja kyläläisille tekemilläni haastatteluilla, joissa he kertovat omia kokemuksiaan terveyssisaren työstä.
