This study focuses, from a short story of the blood libel of Saint Dominguito de Val, on answering the questions of when and why the ?tradition? was made about this saint, and the specific moments of his Revitalization until the end of the 17th century. Although the short story of the death of this infant has been occupied by the most diverse writers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, we take as reference the master Espés and the chroniclers Blancas, Andrés de Uztarroz and Dormer.

Housing affordability problems have become more serious over the course of the last few decades and are now also affecting the middle-class, despite the fall in prices on the housing market. This study proposes a methodology to assess threshold-income as an index for measuring housing affordability by applying a combination of the ratio income and residual income approaches. The methodology is applied to two particular areas of Sicily in Italy as case studies consisting of medium-size metropolitan areas located in a less developed European region. In our dataset (N = 241), the detected number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 to 12, and the observed and expected heterozygosity varied from 0.251 to 0.778 and from 0.286 to 0.804, respectively. Master's thesis in Coastal ecology (BIO501) Both Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and Brown trout (Salmo trutta) spawn in freshwaters, and availability to water courses of good water quality is of great importance for the Salmonidae populations. The industrial revolution introduced release of considerable amounts of sulphur and nitrogen taken up by the environments, including aquatic habitats. Through the 20thcentury, the pH levels dramatically dropped while levels of toxic aluminium rose in the freshwaters. The acidic and toxic waters strongly affected the salmon populations, and several of the stocks of south Norwegian rivers were eliminated. The trout, however, have managed the decrease in …

Masteroppgave akvatisk økologi BIO500 - Universitetet i Agder 2017 Kristiansandsfjorden har i en årrekke vært utsatt for sterk belastning forårsaket av menneskelige aktiviteter. Hovedproblemene i fjorden har vært knyttet til høye konsentrasjoner av organisk materiale, klororganiske forbindelser, PAH og tungmetaller, som hovedsakelig har sin kilde fra utslipp av kommunalt avløpsvann og industriutslipp. Det har blitt iverksatt ulike tiltak i fjorden: utslippsreduksjoner for industri, bygging av kommunale renseanlegg og tildekking av forurenset sediment. Disse tiltakene har ført til en bedring av miljøtilstanden, men den har fortsatt ikke nådd miljømålet satt av Vannforskriften. Det har blitt …
