Mainosten representaatiot vaikuttavat käsitykseemme itsestämme ja muista. Vaikka mainontaa on tutkittu laajasti, lapsia ja mainontaa on tutkittu lähinnä siitä näkökulmasta, millaisia mainoksia lapsille on suunnattu tai miten mainonta vaikuttaa lapsiin. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella lasten representaatiota aikuisille suunnatuissa mainoksissa. Lisäksi halutaan selvittää ovatko mainokset muuttuneet vuosien aikana. Tutkimuksen aineistona ovat Time-lehden vuosikerrat 1994, 2004 ja 2014. Aineistossa on kaiken kaikkiaan 80 erillistä mainosta, joiden pohjalta tyypillinen representaatio luotiin. Pro gradu- tutkimukseni tarkoituksena on ymmärtää ja kuvata nuorten, joilla on CP- vamma, kokemuksia pitkäaikaisesta fysioterapiasta fenomenologis- hermeneuttisen tutkimusasetelman kautta. Tutkimus liittyy laajempaan Jyväskylän yliopiston koordinoimaan Potilasohjaus fysioterapiassa – projektiin ja sillä on tutkimuslupa HUS:n eettiseltä toimikunnalta. Tutkimukseen osallistui 10 nuorta, joilla on ollut fysioterapiaa pienestä lapsesta lähtien, 16-22 -vuotta. Aineisto kerättiin avoimien yksilöllisten haastattelujen avulla ja analysoitiin Spiegelbergin (1982) ja Laineen (2010) aineistoanalyysimenetelmän kautta. Type A aortic dissection (TAAD) is a severe cardiovascular disease with high mortality rates. Current evidence suggests inflammation as the main mechanism of its complex pathophysiology. Accordingly, in this study the eventual presence of inflammatory cells in aorta specimens and any contribution of these cells in both apoptosis and metalloproteinase levels were assessed. The potential relationship between plasma inflammatory molecules and TAAD was also detected. Abstract Cubic specimens of the intermetallic Ni3Sn compound were built using selective laser melting of elemental powder blends. A specimen built at a laser power of 200 W and a scanning speed of 0.5 m/s was determined to have a homogeneous distribution of Ni and Sn on a mesoscopic scale in spite of a 2 at.% Sn deficiency. Characterization of the microstructure using the HAADF-STEM technique reveals a dispersion of ultrafine Ni particles, nanoscale chemical inhomogeneity and the formation of antiphase nanodomains in the matrix of equiaxed Ni3Sn grains. In this dissertation, I study national campaigns aimed at constructing Estonian national identity in 1934–1940. The campaigns were organized through the cooperation of Konstantin Päts’ authoritarian government and civil society. I focus on the folk art campaign and on the name changing campaign. The name changing campaign was the largest national project in Estonia, aiming at the Estonification of names. Initially, the campaign focused on changing individuals’ surnames and first names, but later also on changing the names of places, streets and properties.
