Distances and proximities of care : Analysing emotio-spatial distances in informal caring

This article analyses how emotio-spatial distances in informal caring are experienced by Finnish women who are employed and simultaneously caring for an ageing relative. The article's research questions are: how do spatial distance and proximity shape informal carers' emotional responses to caring? What kinds of emotion do spatial ‘distance’ or ‘proximity’ evoke in the interview accounts of informal carers? The article draws on theorisations regarding emotional geographies of care. Today’s political ambitions are based on the neoliberal aspiration to diminish the state’s role and responsibilities, and to transfer those responsibilities to local communities and individuals in ways that idealise those communities, promising to ‘give power to the people’. Instead of highlighting individualism, neoliberalism now celebrates communities and participation. This article deals with the effects of this ideology with regard to Finnish rural policy objectives. Drawing on Finnish village action programmes as data, we argue that these ideological views aim to transform individuals and create new moral actors. Tässä tutkielmassa esitetään malli SaaS-palveluiden markkinoinnista ja myynnistä B2B-markkinoilla. Tämän kaltaista mallia tutkittavasta ilmiöstä ei ole aikaisemmin esitetty akateemisessa kirjallisuudessa, tai ainakaan tutkija ei ole tietoinen tästä. Malli muodostetaan käsitteellis-teoreettisen kirjallisuusanalyysin sekä monen tapauksen tapaustutkimuksen pohjalta. Tässä artikkelissa analysoin kolmea suomalaista scifiaiheista runoa. Runot ovat Markku Paasosen "Kone", Veera Antsalon "Play" ja Tomi Sonsterin "Tettiläinen". Jokainen tieteisfiktiivinen maailma on rakennettu novumin ympärille. Novum on jokin ilmiö tai keksintö, joka eroaa kirjoittajan omasta todellisuudesta ja joka on selitetty tieteellisesti. Germany Needs a National Stability Pact

In many publications1, Horst Siebert has recommended that national fiscal policies within European Monetary Union be subjected to certain conditions in order to lay the foundation for a stable currency. Provisions to this effect have been laid down in Art. 104 of the EC Treaty and the European Stability and Growth Pact. The first “acid test”, however, has cast doubt on whether these provisions are sufficient to ensure sustainable solid public-sector finance in the member countries.
