Metabolic Reprogramming of Innate Immune Cells as a Possible Source of New Therapeutic Approaches in Autoimmunity.

Immune cells undergo different metabolic pathways or immunometabolisms to interact with various antigens. Immunometabolism links immunological and metabolic processes and is critical for innate and adaptive immunity. Although metabolic reprogramming is necessary for cell differentiation and proliferation, it may mediate the imbalance of immune homeostasis, leading to the pathogenesis and development of some diseases, such as autoimmune diseases. Here, we discuss the effects of metabolic changes in autoimmune diseases, exerted by the leading actors of innate immunity, and their role in autoimmunity pathogenesis, suggesting many immunotherapeutic approaches.

This descriptive study sought to understand the complexities of integrative processing during collaborative online reading. Student pairs constructed a collaborative understanding while reading online information about a controversial issue by connecting, combining and organizing information that originated from prior knowledge, self-selected online texts, and discussions during an online inquiry task. Abstract Recent studies have given incentives to physics departments around the world to revise the learning goals of their lab courses to emphasize experimentation skills over reinforcing lecture content. Evaluation instruments have been developed to measure the achievement of learning goals, and one such instrument is the Physics Lab Inventory of Critical thinking (PLIC). Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastelen suomalaisten lukiolaisten (n=20) ja yliopisto-opiskelijoiden (n=20) sekä ruotsalaisten lukiolaisten (n=20) ruotsinkielisten kertomusten rakennetta. Vertaan, miten suomalaiset toisen kielen oppijat ja ruotsalaiset ensikielen oppijat rakentavat kertomuksensa. Tutkimusmateriaali, joka koostuu 60 lyhyestä kirjoittajien omiin kokemuksiin perustuvasta kertomuksesta, on osa aineistoa, jota on kerätty Jyväskylän yliopiston toisen kielen oppimista käsittelevässä Topling-hankkeessa vuodesta 2010 alkaen. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan maahanmuuton kielikysymyksiä Unkarista Suomeen ja Ruotsiin työllistyneiden terveydenhuollon ammattilaisten näkökulmasta. Neksusanalyyttisessä viitekehyksessä tutkitaan sitä investointia, jonka nämä työntekijät tekevät oppiakseen uutta, työssä tarvitsemaansa kieltä eli suomea tai ruotsia. A better understanding of the remodeling process of postextraction sockets is essential in dental treatment planning. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) can be applied to imaging contour changes of postextraction sites, as well as to its quantification with image analysis of obtained three-dimensional images. El abolicionismo y el regulacionismo se encuentra en un enfrentamiento de posiciones y argumentos a favor o en contra de la prostitución y/o el trabajo sexual.
