In this paper we build on the debates on cross-national transfer of management practices in MNCs, and especially examine how internal and external institutional pressures shape the way MNCs’ HRM practices evolve upon new market entry. In our longitudinal case study we examine the evolution of multinational hard discounter Lidl’s labour relations in Finland between 2002-2012. We show how Lidl Finland’s entry to Finnish markets was labelled by constant struggles between cross-border standardization and local adaptation of labour practices. In diagnostic histopathology, hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining is a critical process that highlights salient histological features. Staining results vary between laboratories regardless of the histopathological task, although the method does not change. This variance can impair the accuracy of algorithms and histopathologists’ time-to-insight. Investigating this variance can help calibrate stain normalization tasks to reverse this negative potential. Atgriezeniskā saite franču valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanā klātienē un neklātienē : pētījums par skolotāju pielietotajām praksēm Latvijā

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt franču valodas kā svešvalodas skolotāju izmantotās atgriezeniskās saites prakses klātienes un tālmācības stundās. Šis pētījums sastāv no teorētiskās un empīriskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā ir izklāstīti trīs galvenie jēdzieni: vērtēšana, labošana un atgriezeniskā saite, kā arī tiek pētīti divi mācību modeļi – klātienes un attālinātais. Empīriskajā daļā ir sniegts korpusa un metodoloģijas apraksts, kā arī 10 daļēji strukturēto interviju korpusa analīze, kas transkribētas, lai veiktu satura analīzi. Vispārējie secinājumi parāda, ka klātienes stundās izmantotās prakses atšķiras no attālinātajās stundās izmantotajām praksēm formas un korektīvo stratēģiju ziņā.
