Throughout the present research I intend to demonstrate the powerful link between the vocal practice in accompanied monody and the way Early Italian violin music ought to be interpreted. Due to the scarce amount of articulation and ornamentation in this music, I consider that historical criteria should be found in order to back up the subjective choices in its performance. According to this, I focus on reviewing sources that describe the vocal practice around 1600, but also contemporary sources in which we can find instructions addressed to bow instruments. The paper focuses on the changes that occurred to the architecture of industrial relations in Southern-European countries during the last decade. In particular, the bargaining systems of Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Portugal are compared, with a particular attention to the legislative measures enacted under the influence of international institutions after the 2008 financial and sovereign debt crisis. Il presente lavoro analizza i cambiamenti nell'architettura delle relazioni industriali in Europa del Sud durante l'ultimo decennio. Al riguardo vengono comparati i sistemi di contrattazione collettiva di Italia Francia Spagna Grecia e Portogallo con particolare attenzione ai provvedimenti legislativi emanati dietro influenza delle istituzioni internazionali dopo la crisi finanziaria e del debito sovrano del 2008. Il contesto teorico di riferimento è rappresentato dalla letteratura in materia di politica comparata come di recente rivista da Thelen. Nel contempo l’analisi è svolta alla luce della categoria giuslavoristica di “norma inderogabile” costituita dal binomio legge-contratto collettivo nazionale figlio dei trente glorieuses. Tale architettura delle relazioni industriali è stata fortemente erosa dal rafforzamento della capacità derogatoria degli accordi aziendali. The issue of this paper is the ingroup verbal violence. The theoretical framework is the “rhetoric of dissensus”, a perspective which aims to understand the role and the modalities of polemical discourse in our argumentation practice. Using the Iliad as a paradigmatic case study, the paper mainly analyses cases where the ingroup verbal assault aims to encourage and incite violence. The analysis focuses on the perlocutionary effect of these speech acts.

Diagnosis and therapeutic management of primary headache in an emergency setting

Introduction and aim: Much headachers are under or mis-diagnoses and data regarding the proportion of patients attending an emergency department (ED) because of headache are still few. We conducted a retrospective observational study in an ED with the following aims: (a) estimate the proportion of headache attending to an ED (b) to estimate and describe the therapeutic management of primary headache and (c) to assessment the exam most frequently requested. Materials and methods: We collected data regarding patients diagnosed with headache consecutively attending the ED of the University of Palermo between September 2011 and March 2012. The study was approved by the ethics committee. Results: Between the semester evaluated 25110 subjects were admitted to ED headache suffers were equal to 1.6 %. Of these 263 (63.1 %) were woman and 154 (36.9 %). Mean age was 44.2 (DS ± 18.4) years (p = 0.068).According to ED registry headache admission was as follow assigned: 76.5 % with a diagnosis of headache 22.8 % with a secondary headache 0.7 % with Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalgias (TACs). Among those with a primary headache about 36 % of patient did not received a pharmacological treatment. Monotherapy was prescribed less frequently than combination therapy (19.1 vs 44.5 %).In monotherapy the most frequent medication were NSAIDs (28.3 %) benzodiazepines (26.7 %) and dopamine antagonists (11.7 %). Among those with a primary headache a CT scan was performed in the 124 subjects and 111 (34.8 %) had a neurologist consultation. Discussion: Our data are in line with the one previously reported in literature. The most frequently medication in the Italian ED were NSAIDs benzodiazepines dopamine antagonists and steroids. Neverless our data unlikely can be compared to other study give a snapshot. We believe that much more can be done to improve treatment of primary headache in ED.Settore MED/26 - Neurologia

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to recognize clusters of diseases among hospitalized elderly and to identify groups of patients at risk of in-hospital death and adverse clinical events according to disease clustering. METHOD: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in 38 internal medicine and geriatric wards in Italy participating in the Registro Politerapie SIMI (REPOSI) study during 2008.
