Tämän pro gradu -työn tarkoituksena oli tarkastella miten alueelliset sanomalehdet hyödyntävät sosiaalista mediaa ja sen kautta lukijoitaan uutistyönsä tukena. Näkökulma oli koko toimitusorganisaatiossa, ei yksittäisissä toimittajissa. Tarkoitus oli löytää merkkejä strategisesta suhtautumisesta sosiaaliseen mediaan: mitä sosiaalisesta mediasta tavoitellaan ja miten. Samalla oli tarkoitus vertailla eroja suomalaisten ja yhdysvaltalaisten alueellisten sanomalehtien välillä. This paper contributes to the discussion on health behavior change support systems by examining one of the persuasive software features, social support. The paper studies the influence of structural social support on functional social support types in the online environment. Specifically, the paper examines the frequency of using two different kinds of online social platforms (online forums and Facebook groups) that are used to facilitate peer social support in weight loss and their influence on perceived functional social support types (emotional, informational, and instrumental). Holocene sea level change in Malta

A multidisciplinary approach has been applied to study sea level changes along the coast of Malta using data collected from underwater archaeological remains. The elevation of archaeological markers have been compared with predicted sea level curves providing new bodies of evidence that outline the vertical tectonic behaviour of this region, allowing estimation of the relative sea level changes that occurred in this area of the Mediterranean since the Bronze Age. During the Roman Age, sea level was at −1.36 ± 0.1 m, while in the Midde Age it was at −0.56 ± 0.2 m, in agreement with previous estimations for the Mediterranean region. EVs isolate da semi, foglie e frutti di svariate specie vegetali presentano attività anti-tumorale, anti-infiammatoria ed anti-ossidante.
