En este artículo presento la perspectiva intercultural a partir de la doctrina orteguiana del punto de vista. Aunque Ortega no emplea en sus escritos el término “intercultural”, expongo de qué modo es posible entender su perspectivismo en términos interculturales. Para ello además de conectarlo con los planteamientos de dos de los principales autores de la tradición hermenéutica como son Hans-Georg Gadamer y Charles Taylor, destaco la dimensión intercultural de su perspectivismo. Crystal polymorphism of (μ4–O)-body centered adamantanoid Cu(II) complexes

Abstract Two novel polymorphs of [Cu4(μ4–O)(μ–Cl)6(DASO)4], (DASO = diallyl sulfoxide; C6H10OS), rhombic (C) and triclinic (D), were obtained and examined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis at two temperatures, 295(2) and 100(1) K. This study, in addition to our recent work on the tetragonal (A) and trigonal (B) forms of the title compound, allowed determining the nature of polymorphism and temperature-induced phase transitions. It is stated that both the packing arrangement and the displacive transformation integrate these structures, forming the symmetrically and thermodynamically related series: A,B → C → D. Se pone de relieve, además, la historicidad del «mundo de la vida» y su incidencia en la teoría del <i>a priori</i>, para terminar con un estudio de la racionalidad del <i>a priori</i> y la facticidad del prejuicio.

En un trabajo anterior defendimos que no se había prestado suficiente atención al procedimiento utilizado en el juicio contra Sócrates, sin que examináramos las causas de esa desatención. Ahora, tras analizarlas, llegamos a la conclusión de que ese procedimiento se habría malentendido completamente al haberse implementado un prejuicio no percibido. Habríamos extrapolado a ese procedimiento los presupuestos individualistas de los procedimientos vigentes hoy en día y, en consecuencia, habríamos estado sordos a lo que nos dice la tradición. Accumulation of amyloid beta-peptides (Abeta) in the brain is believed to contribute to the development of Alzheimer disease (AD). Abeta, a 40-42 amino acid-comprising proteolytical fragment of the amyloid precursor protein (APP), is released from APP by sequential cleavages via beta- and gamma-secretases. However, the predominant route of APP processing consists of successive cleavages by alpha- and gamma-secretases. Alpha-secretase attacks APP inside the Abeta sequence, and therefore prevents formation of neurotoxic Abeta. Method specific Cholesky decomposition : Coulomb and exchange energies

We present a novel approach to the calculation of the Coulomb and exchange contributions to the total electronic energy in self consistent field and density functional theory. The numerical procedure is based on the Cholesky decomposition and involves decomposition of specific Hadamard product matrices that enter the energy expression. In this way, we determine an auxiliary basis and obtain a dramatic reduction in size as compared to the resolution of identity (RI) method. Electric quantum walks in two dimensions

We study electric quantum walks in two dimensions considering Grover, Alternate, Hadamard, and DFT quantum walks. In the Grover walk the behaviour under an electric field is easy to summarize: when the field direction coincides with the x or y axes, it produces a transient trapping of the probability distribution along the direction of the field, while when it is directed along the diagonals, a perfect 2D trapping is frustrated.
