In the solid state, the title compound, C(22)H(10)N(2)S, forms centrosymmetric dimers by pairs of non-classical C-H⋯S hydrogen bonds linking approximately coplanar mol-ecules. The benzene ring involved in this inter-action makes a dihedral angle of only 7.21 (16)° with the thio-phene ring, while the other benzene ring is twisted somewhat out of the plane, with a dihedral angle of 39.58 (9)°. The hydrogen-bonded dimers stack on top of each other with an inter-planar spacing of 3.44 Å. C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link together stacks that run in approximately perpendicular directions. Oral diseases in a patient with Prader-Willy syndrome.

BACKGROUND: A case of Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) in a 13-year-old girl is reported. The patient presents with systemic and oral manifestations of the disease. Case report The patient shows: obesity, hypotonia, mental retardation, small hands, prominent forehead, strabismus, hypoplastic teeth, poor oral hygiene, caries, oral candidiasis and thick, sticky saliva. This case is reported to underline the importance of the oral and dental problems of these patients. Caries and oral candidiasis are correlated with the reduced secretion of saliva and with poor oral hygiene. The role of paediatric dentistry is considered to be necessary for the prevention of oral complications of this syndrome.

Luet Työsuojelurahaston rahoittaman JoKo-hankkeen (Lähijohtaminen kestävän oppimisen edistäjänä työelämässä) loppuraporttia. Tuomme tässä raportissa esille havaintojamme hankkeen aikana kerätyn haastatteluaineiston annista ja toteutetun ryhmävalmennuksen kokemuksista ja luomme niiden pohjalta syvempää ymmärrystä oppimisen kestävyydestä työssä. Suomalaisessa työelämässä painotetaan osaamisen ja jatkuvan oppimisen merkitystä erityisesti asiantuntijatyössä, mutta ymmärrystä oppimisen kestävyydestä meillä on vielä hyvin vähän.
