Esta tesis doctoral consiste en una edición crítica de los Ethicorum Libri III (Valencia, 1816) escritos por el erudito valenciano Mariano Madramany y Calatayud, acompañada de una traducción al español y de notas explicativas. En la introducción se da detallada cuenta de la biografía de Madramany a partir de la consulta de la documentación de archivos, y se repasa el conjunto de su producción escrita, prestando especial atención a los contenidos, las estructuras y las fuentes de los Ethicorum. El doctorando establece las principales fuentes de los Ethicorum Libri III, a saber, santo Tomás de Aquino, el Catecismo Romano y la Theologia Moralis de Alfonso de Ligorio. Charge radius changes of even-even neutron-rich Tellurium isotopes

Laser spectroscopy based on resonant ionization of laser-desorbed atoms has been used to study the neutron-rich tellurium isotopes with the COMPLIS facility at ISOLDE-CERN. The isotope shift and the hyperfine structure of several neutron-rich Te isotopes: $^{120–136}$Te and $^{123m–133m}$Te have been measured. From the hyperfine structure and the isotope shift we can extract the magnetic and quadrupole moments and the change in the mean square charge radius respectively. The mean square charge radii of the even-even isotopes have been deduced and their comparison with the known data for the other elements near Z=50 is presented. Guanine quadruplexes (G4s) are nucleic acid structures exhibiting a complex structural behavior and exerting crucial biological functions, in both cells and viruses. The specific interactions of peptides with G4s, as well as the understanding of the factors driving the specific recognition, are important for the rational design of both therapeutic and diagnostic agents. Molecular spectroscopy offers opportunities for the exploration of the fundamental laws of nature and the search for new particle physics beyond the standard model1–4. Radioactive molecules—in which one or more of the atoms possesses a radioactive nucleus—can contain heavy and deformed nuclei, offering high sensitivity for investigating parity- and time-reversal-violation effects5,6. Pēdējos desmitgados Latvijā parādās jaunas kristīgās kopienas, kuras atsakās piedēvēt sev jebkādu konfesionālo birku. Tās attiecina sevi vienkārši pie kristiešiem, un ne pie vienas konfesijas. Latvijā zinātnieki šīs grupas pētīšanai vēl nav pievērsušies. Tāpēc šī darba mērķis ir atrast pēc iespējas vairāk šo kopienu īpašību, kā arī noteikt galveno principu, kas raksturo nekonfesionālo kristietību, gan Latvijā, gan pasaulē. Nella presente memoria sono riportati alcuni risultati sperimentali ottenuti in un canale rettilineo di laboratorio utilizzando misure di velocità locale effettuate al fine di analizzare l’evoluzione di strutture turbolente che nascono in prossimità del fondo. L’analisi è effettuata sia in condizione di pareti lisce che in condizione di pareti scabre. L’evoluzione spazio-temporale delle strutture turbolente è stata analizzata applicando l’analisi dei quadranti ed utilizzando la tecnica della media condizionata.

En el último tercio del siglo XIX se produjo el auge del coleccionismo de tejidos antiguos. Fue una práctica impulsada por el movimiento de revalorización de las artes aplicadas, la Exposición Universal de Londres de 1851 y por la fundación de los primeros museos de disciplinas decorativas. Las ricas telas, que en la Edad Media constituyeron un símbolo de ostentación y poder, habían permanecido relegadas al olvido hasta que eruditos, magnates o artistas comenzaron a atesorar estos ejemplares fabulosos.
