In this research, the Aristida adscensionis fibers (AAFs) were taken out from the plants and its fundamental properties anlayzed for the first time. The AAFs were characterized and compared with other natural fibers by the use of physico-chemical analysis and various characterization techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, NMR, TGA, SEM and AFM. Chemical analysis showed that A. adscensionis fibers have a high cellulose content of 70.78% whereas the contents of lignin and wax are equal to 8.91% and 2.26%, respectively. In this paper we discuss the perspective of Sociology of Knowledge Approach to Discourse (SKAD) as a possible strategy applicable to studies framed by decolonial thought. The reflection is approached by comparing key concepts of both perspectives, such as discourse, power and knowledge, as well as their methodological premises. The results allow us to point out potentials of SKAD as a conceptual-methodological reference for investigations towards decoloniality, e.g. the SKAD analysis dimensions patterns of interpretation and narrative structure. El trabajo presenta unas tablas que recientemente han aparecido en el mercado artístico. Cuatro de ellas las atribuimos al anónimo Maestro de Portillo. Una quinta tabla, subastada en Italia, la adscribimos al Maestro de Calzada, que trabajó, sobre todo, en el ámbito vallisoletano. Estas personalidades artísticas continúan en el anonimato, seguramente por la escasa documentación conservada en el territorio donde ejercieron su profesión. 2. tipa cukura diabēts ir metabolo traucējumu grupa, kam raksturīga hiperglikēmija un insulīna rezistence. Maģistra darba mērķis bija izveidot diabēta pacientiem specifiskas cilmes šūnu līnijas no taukaudu paraugiem. No taukaudiem iegūtās cilmes šūnas tika diferencētas par adipocītiem, kuriem tika ierosināta insulīna rezistence. Tika noteikta to gēnu ekspresija, kas iesaistīti glikozes homeostāzes, transporta un iekaisumu procesos - normālos un insulīna rezistences apstākļos un novērtēta arī pioglitazona iedarbība uz in vitro izraisīto insulīna rezistenci pacientiem specifiskajās šūnu līnijās.
