The synthesis, crystal structure, and magneto-chemical characterization of two new unprecedented μ-phenoxo-μ-carboxylato heterodinuclear complexes based on the Cr(salen) moiety (salen = N,N′-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediamine), [MII(O2C(CH3)3)(OH2)2(μ-O2C(CH3)3)(μ-salen)CrIII(O2C(CH3)3)], M = Ni (2), Co(3) are reported. The dinuclear complexes were obtained starting from the mononuclear trans-[Cr(salen)(CN)2]PPh4 (1), whose crystal structure is also reported. They show a trans arrangement of the Cr(salen) unit, bridging through the phenolate O atoms to a second metal center. Tässä tutkielmassa kuvataan, mistä ja miten Aamulehti, Helsingin Sanomat ja Keskisuomalainen kirjoittivat vaalirahoitusta käsittelevissä pääkirjoituksissaan aikavälillä 7.5.2008–17.9.2010. Tutkielmassa kiinnitetään huomiota siihen, mitä aiheita lehdet vaalirahoituksen yhteydessä käsittelivät, keitä toimijoita lehdet nostivat esiin ja mihin lähteisiin nojaten lehdet kirjoittivat pääkirjoituksensa. Tutkielman pääasiallisena tutkimusmenetelmänä on käytetty määrällistä sisällön erittelyä, jonka avulla kirjoitukset on luokiteltu sisältöluokkiin aihe-, toimija- ja lähdeulottuvuuksien mukaan. Magic triangular and tetrahedral clusters

Using the methods of density functional theory and the jellium model we show that clusters with triangular [in two dimensions (2D)] or tetrahedral [in three dimensions (3D)] shapes have a strong shell structure and enhanced stability. Moreover, the shell closings correspond to the lowest magic numbers of a 2D and 3D harmonic oscillator and at the same time to the number of divalent atoms in close-packed triangles and tetrahedrons. Ab initio molecular dynamics simulations for Na and Mg clusters support the results of the jellium model.

ABSTRACT: The duality between good and evil is a common topic in all civilizations regardless of chronology or geographical location. It is a conflict reflected in art history, and on the present occasion, through the iconographic types of Cain killing Abel as well as Tur murdering Iraj. The roots of these myths are deeply embedded in two highly relevant written sources, the Bible and the Shahnameh or The Book of Kings . Dzieje organów w kościele parafialnym w Niemczy

Pierwsze wzmianki o organach w kościele parafialnym w Niemczy pochodzą z przełomu XVI i XVII wieku. W latach 1597–1598 niewielki instrument wybudował Abraham Grasse. W 1617 roku ten sam organmistrz postawił nowe organy, liczące sześć głosów w manuale i trzy w pedale. Strawił je pożar w 1633 roku. W 1648 roku do odbudowanego kościoła zakupiono używany pozytyw. W 1725 roku świątynia wzbogaciła się o 20-głosowe organy wybudowane przez Ignatzego Mentzla. Służyły one parafii do 1852 roku, wówczas zamknięto, a następnie rozebrano kościół. Organy znajdujące się w obecnej świątyni pochodzą z 1866 roku i są dziełem Gottfrieda Riemera z Brzegu. Miały pierwotnie 18 głosów i mechaniczną trakturę rejest…
