Naida noziegumi veido specifisku noziedzības fenomenu. Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta naida noziegumu problemātika no krimināltiesību, cilvēktiesību, dažādu psiholoģisko un sociālo procesu aspektiem. Pētījumā tiek analizēta naida noziegumu jēdziena izpratne, rasu, etniskā, nacionālā un sociālā naida nošķiršanas jautājums, kā arī mūsdienu tehnoloģiju attīstības laikmetā aktuālā naida runas kolīzija ar tiesībām uz vārda brīvību, pievēršot īpašu uzmanību naida runas izplatībai interneta vidē. Secīgi tiek aplūkots arī naida noziegumu starptautiskais regulējums un Latvijas tiesiskā regulējuma ģenēze. Influence of sexual sensation seeking, sexual compulsivity and sexual pleasure in condom use among Spanish youth: implications for HIV interventions

Spain is one of the countries with the highest incidence of HIV within the European Union. Multiple and complex factors influence HIV infection in young people. This study aims to determine the influence of sexual sensation seeking, sexual compulsivity and perceived sexual pleasure variables in condom use. A total of 424 heterosexual youth were evaluated (M age = 20.62; SD = 2.62) distributed into a risk group (60.7%) and a no-risk group (39.3%). Sexual Sensation Seeking Scale, AIDS Prevention Questionnaire, Sexual Compulsivity Scale, and Sexual Pleasure Perceived Scale were administered. Can a cheat sheet in an EFL test engage and empower students?

Although occasionally used in language classrooms, cheat-sheet tests have not been explored in foreign or second language education research. This study experimented with cheat-sheet tests in the teaching of EFL in a Finnish upper secondary school. The participants, 101 students, could make a cheat sheet for the grammar part of their English test. A total of 92 students prepared the cheat sheet, nine did not. Students’ cheat sheets, test results and comments constituted the data for this study, analysed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Näkövammaisille apuvälineet ovat elämää helpottavia, hyödyllisiä, pakollisia, kiusallisiakin mutta välttämättömiä. Ne tarjoavat mahdollisuuden itsenäiseen elämään, harrastamiseen ja työskentelyyn ihmisille, joille se ei ilman olisi mah-dollista. Tutkimuksessa halusin selvittää, millä tasolla näkövammaisten apuvälineiden käytettävyys on tällä hetkellä ja mitä parannettavaa siinä olisi tulevaisuudessa. Tarkoitus oli myös selvittää, mitä apuvälineitä näkövammaiset oikeasti käyttävät. Erityishuomiota tutkimuksessa saivat liikkumisen apuvälineet. Alternative displays of effect size statistics can enhance the understandability and impact of validity evidence in a variety of applied settings. Arguably, the proliferation of alternative effect size statistics has been limited due to the lack of user-friendly tools to create them. Common statistical packages do not readily produce these alternative effect sizes and existing tools are outdated and inaccessible. Bakalaura darba tēma ir veselības komunikācija interneta medijos: HIV/AIDS problēmu rāmējumi delfi.lv, lsm.lv un nra.lv ziņu saturā. Darba mērķis ir identificēt rāmējumus, kas konstatējami delfi.lv, lsm.lv un nra.lv ziņu saturā par HIV/AIDS problēmām veselības komunikācijas kontekstā. Teorijā apskatīta veselības komunikācija medijos – veselības ziņu satura veidošana, ietekme uz patērētājiem, HIV/AIDS komunikācija medijos, kā arī rāmējuma teorija. Empīriskajā daļā izmantota kontentanalīze un pētnieču Hollijas Semetko (Holli A. Semetko) un Patijas Valkenburgas (Patti M.Valkenburg) piecu rāmējuma veidu pieeja ziņu satura analīzei.
