Minting Techniques in Currencies and Cryptocurrencies. Over the past ten years, the creation of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has renewed the debate on the nature of money. This paper discusses the comparison between cryptocurrencies and coins : after describing their ideological and technical foundations, we explain the reasons why the reference to metals is often invoked. We then detail the techniques of minting, the processes of marking, and the question of seigniorage.

J.C. Maier – a previously known aide to Bluhme in the transcription of the Veronese palimpsest of Justinian’s Code. This paper calls into question the idea that in the summer of 1823 Maier worked together with Bluhme at the decipherment of the palimpsest of Gaius’ Institutes preserved in the Capitular Library of Verona (Verona, B. Cap., Cod. XV). A comprehensive analysis of the sources leads to the conclusion that Maier helped Bluhme in the same library for the transcription of the palimpsest of Justinians’ Code (Verona, B. Liberalizing Industrial Relations in Southern-Europe: Towards the End of a Coordinated and Egalitarian Model

The paper focuses on the changes that occurred to the architecture of industrial relations in Southern-European countries during the last decade. In particular, the bargaining systems of Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Portugal are compared, with a particular attention to the legislative measures enacted under the influence of international institutions after the 2008 financial and sovereign debt crisis. The theoretical framework, under which the process of transformation is analysed, is the literature on comparative politics as recently reviewed by Thelen. Brāļu draudžu kustība Latvijas teritorijā ienāk 18.gadsimtā un izplatās Vidzemē. 19.gadsimta vidū notiek kustības noriets un 20.gadsimta sākumā hernhūtiešu kustības darbība ir neliela. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas brāļu draudzes, kurās ietilpst Vidzemes un Kurzemes brāļu draudzes, atspoguļojumu periodikā no 1903. līdz 1945.gadam. Brāļu draudzes raksturo darbības samazināšanās, bet Vidzemes un Kurzemes brāļu draudžu organizācijas mēģina turpināt brāļu draudžu darbību. We will try to throw light on the way in which theories are attracted towards both unicity and plurality, and more specifically by unification and diversification of money. It should also be noted, in this respect, that the economics of money has undergone considerable development since the 1970s. Las ruinas mayas de La Blanca, ubicadas en la cuenca baja del río Mopán (Petén, Guatemala), gozan de una ubicación privilegiada, ya que se extienden en una planicie dominada al Norte por una serranía que alcanza una altitud máxima de 490 metros y delimitada al Sur por la presencia del río Salsipuedes, tributario del Mopán. The incidence of acute and chronic liver damage and its relation to hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection was evaluated in 164 consecutive children with acute leukemia seen in ten Italian hemato-pediatric units. Thirteen out of 164 children (7.9%) had acute hepatitis (AH) during treatment, while 8/90 (8.8%) showed an acute exacerbation of liver damage within 6 months after therapy withdrawal. Seven of the 13 children with AH while on therapy were HBsAg positive. In 12/13 cases, liver disease progressed to chronicity.
