FORMATION OF MOLECULES IN ULTRACOLD ATOMIC GASES VIA QUASI-RESONANT FIELDS

we study the nonlinear mean-field dynamics of diatomic molecule formation at coherent photo- and magneto-association of ultracold atoms focusing on the case when the system is initially in the all-atomic state. We show that in the limit of strongly nonlinear interaction between an ultra-cold atomic-molecular system and a quasi-resonant electromagnetic field, the molecule formation process, depending on the characteristics of the associating field, may evolve according two different scenarios, namely, weak- and strong-oscillatory regimes. Positron production using a 9 MeV electron linac for the GBAR experiment

For the GBAR (Gravitational Behaviour of Antihydrogen at Rest) experiment at CERN's Antiproton Decelerator (AD) facility we have constructed a source of slow positrons, which uses a low-energy electron linear accelerator (linac). The driver linac produces electrons of 9 MeV kinetic energy that create positrons from bremsstrahlung-induced pair production. Staying below 10 MeV ensures no persistent radioactive activation in the target zone and that the radiation level outside the biological shield is safe for public access. Our cities should be designed to accommodate everybody, including children. We will not move toward a more sustainable society unless we accept that children are people with transportation needs, and ‘bussing’ them around, or providing parental limousine services at all times, will not lead to sustainability. Rather, we will need to make our cities walkable for children, at least those above a certain age. Safety has two main aspects, traffic safety and personal safety (risk of assault). Introduction: Irritable bowel syndrome with constipation is associated with higher rates of functional impairment, as compared to other subtypes of the syndrome. Conventional laxative-based pharmacologic therapy of IBS-C, which is mostly symptom-based, is often unsatisfactory. Kokouksia järjestetään kaikissa organisaatioissa ja yhteiskunnissa ja ne vievät valmisteluineen suuren osan erityisesti johtajien työajasta. Tästä huolimatta kokousten roolia osana organisaation prosesseja on tutkittu ja jäsennetty teoreettisesti verrattain vähän. Tämä tutkimus keskittyy sairaalajohtoryhmien kokousvuorovaikutuksessa tapahtuvaan sairaalaorganisaation merkityksentämiseen (sensemaking). Koulutukseen liittyvillä harjoittelujaksoilla syntyvillä kokemuksilla on vaikutusta siihen, millaiseksi käsitykset vuorovaikutuksesta työyhteisössä muotoutuvat ja millaisia odotuksia tulevaisuuden työhön kohdentuu. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaan, millaisia kokemuksia sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoilla on vuorovaikutuksesta sairaalaorganisaation työyhteisössä. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisin menetelmin. Yhteensä haastateltiin seitsemää sairaanhoitajaopiskelijaa, joilla oli takanaan yhdestä yhteentoista käytännön harjoittelujaksoa. Aineistonkeruumenetelmänä oli avoin yksilöhaastattelu.
