Maģistra darba tēma ir “Uzņēmuma “Prike” mārketinga komunikācijas darba izstrāde”, kas ietver vairākus galvenos darba virzienus. Latvijas alkohola tirgus attīstības tendences.

Bakalaura darbs izstrādāts ar mērķi veikt Latvijas alkohola tirgus analīzi un prognozēt tā attīstības tendences. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika izpētīti tirgus analīzes un prognozēšanas teorētiskie aspekti. Tika apskatīts un raksturots Latvijas alkohola tirgus esošais stāvoklis, izpētot alus, sidra un stipro alkoholisko dzērienu tirgus segmentus un novērtējot tos ar tirgus koncentrācijas rādītājiem. Pielietojot prognozēšanas metodes, tika noskaidrota Latvijas alkohola tirgus un tā segmentu turpmākā attīstība. Heart rate responses during the modified six-minute walk test among Special Olympics athletes

Objective: The construct validity of the modified six-minute walk test (m6MWT) was examined by addressing the following questions: 1) do participants attain a steady state plateau in heart rate (HR) within the range of 110-150 beats per minute? 2) at what percentage of their predicted HR maximum were participants during each minute of the test? Material and Methods: Participants were 36 (male=56%) Special Olympics athletes aged 34.4 years (SD = 12.7). Following familiarization, participants completed the m6MWT while wearing a Polar Team 2 heart rate monitor. Tässä tutkimuksessa kartoitettiin ilmanlaadun tilaa Pirkanmaalla 2000-luvulla, selvitettiin sen seurannan tarvetta ja esitettiin erilaisia kehitysehdotuksia ilmanlaadun parantamiseksi alueella. Päästötietoja tutkittiin niin liikenteen, energiantuotannon ja teollisuuden kuin maataloudenkin osalta. Liikenteen päästötiedot saatiin VTT:n LIPASTO-järjestelmästä, energiantuotannon ja teollisuuden tiedot ympäristöhallinnon VAHTI-järjestelmästä ja maa-talouden päästötiedot taas ympäristöhallinnon Hertta-järjestelmästä. Bakalaura darba Kustības verbi: Alkaja un Sapfo tekstu salīdzinoša analīze mērķis ir noteikt kustības verbu lietojuma parametrus Alkaja un Sapfo lirikas tekstu valodā, novērtējot leksēmu lietojumu potenciālos kontekstos. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek atklātas pamatnostādnes un virzieni kustības verbu pētniecībā valodā, kā arī raksturota Alkaja un Sapfo lirikas valodas specifika. Praktiskajā daļā tiek veikts Alkaja un Sapfo tekstu kustības verbu statistisks, aprakstošs pārskats un morfoloģisks un semantisks novērtējums salīdzinošā metodē. Pētījumā tiek analizēti pilnīgākie Alkaja un Sapfo lirikas tekstu fragmenti, kas atklāj kustības verbu nozīmes kontekstā.

Indicators for sustainable pedestrian mobility

Pedestrians walk everyday to satisfy their basic necessities. They need an environment that reflects their requirements and expectations, in other words "liveable" as much as possible. So we should offer tools that could allow a complete and clear evaluation of the existing walking environment, taking into account both pedestrian requirements and urban environment schemes. Photo-polymerized lauryl methacrylate monolithic columns for CEC using lauroyl peroxide as initiator

Lauryl methacrylate (LMA)-ester based monolithic columns photo-polymerized using lauroyl peroxide (LPO) as initiator were prepared, and their morphological and CEC properties were studied. The composition of the polymerization mixture (i.e. ratios of monomers/porogenic solvents, 1,4-butanediol/1-propanol and LMA/crosslinker) was optimized. The morphological and chromatographic properties of LMA columns were evaluated by means of SEM pictures and van Deemter plots of PAHs, respectively. The polymerization mixture selected as optimal provided a fast separation of a mixture of PAHs with excellent efficiencies (minimum plate heights of 8.9-11.1 μm).
