Tracking in Presence of Total Occlusion and Size Variation using Mean Shift and Kalman Filter

International audience; The classical mean shift algorithm for tracking in perfectly arranged conditions constitutes a good object tracking method. However, in the real environment it presents some limitations, especially under the presence of noise, objects with varying size, or occlusions. In order to deal with these problems, this paper proposes a reliable object tracking algorithm using mean shift and the Kalman filter, which was added to the traditional algorithm as a predictor when no reliable model of the object being tracked is found. International audience; Cet article traite de plusieurs ouvrages écrits sur l’Opéra-Comique au tournant des xixe et xxe siècles. Il s’arrête en particulier sur les livres d’Arthur Pougin, Albert Soubies et Charles Malherbe. Les préfaces des ouvrages sont analysées pour comprendre les intentions historiques qui animent ces auteurs. Sur quelles sources travaillent-ils ? Quelles sont les places respectives de la compilation d’autres ouvrages et de l’analyse du document original ? Une attention particulière est portée à l’Almanach des spectacles édité par Soubies à partir de 1874, et à son utilisation.

The PhD presents a combined approach to improving individual car efficiency. An optimal observer, the Extended Kalman Filter, is used to create an efficiency model for the car. Particular attention was paid to handling the asynchronous and redundant nature of the measurement data. A low-cost sensor suite developed to measure data is described. This sensor suite was installed on multiple vehicles to good success. It employsan accelerometer, gps, fuel injector timer, and Vss input to measure all the data necessary to reconstruct the car's state. Estas son potentes antioxidantes y poseen alta capacidad de secuestrar radicales libres. Il contributo analizza il disegno riguardante il prospetto principale di palazzo Comitini, uno dei più significativi esempi di architettura residenziale settecentesca a Palermo, ritrovato dall'autrice e conservato dall'ultimo discendente della famiglia Gravina. L'analisi del disegno, unitamente ad alcuni documenti emersi nel corso della ricerca, getta nuova luce sui tempi di costruzione della fabbrica e attribuendone la paternità all'architetto Nicolò Palma. Il disegno ha un importante valore documentario perché raffigura la facciata del nuovo braccio del palazzo su via Maqueda, prima dei lavori di trasformazione realizzati a opera dell’amministrazione provinciale tra il 1926 e il 1931.

Radial cracks around α-quartz inclusions in almandine: Constraints on the metamorphic history of the Oman mountains

Radiating tensional cracks around α-quartz inclusions in almandine have been observed in metapelite samples from the southeastern Saih Hatat tectonic window, northeastern Oman Mountains. These almandines show an inclusion-rich (glaucophane + epidote) and strongly deformed core with inclusions of different mineral phases. The rim of the same almandines is inclusion-poor and shows only quartz, apatite, zircon, rutile and BaAl phosphates as inclusions. Quartz and apatite inclusions in the rim are single crystals often surrounded by radial cracks.
