When terrigenous dissolved organic carbon (tDOC) rich in chromophoric dissolved organic matter (tCDOM) enters the ocean, solar radiation mineralizes it partially into dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC). This study addresses the amount and the rates of DIC photoproduction from tDOC and the area of ocean required to photomineralize tDOC. We collected water samples from 10 major rivers, mixed them with artificial seawater, and irradiated them with simulated solar radiation to measure DIC photoproduction and the photobleaching of tCDOM. Some studies indicate that university programs for older adults can have a positive impact on the participants perceptions of social support and health. However, those studies fail to evaluate these variables with standardized measurement instruments and control groups, both within and outside the program. This study used an experimental group and two control groups that were evaluated at two different moments, using standardized instruments. The results did not confirm the expected beneficial effects of the programs. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en estudiar si la posición de las letras se codifica de una forma absoluta o relativa, y en particular, conocer el papel que la sílaba juega en la codificación de la información posicional dentro de las representaciones ortográficas. Para ello, empleamos dos experimentos con una tarea de solución de anagramas. En dicha tarea, se presenta un anagrama (CSIAGTO) y el participante tiene que descubrir la palabra que se forma ordenando las letras internas del anagrama (CASTIGO). The ability to design and control properties of nano-sized space in porous coordination polymers (PCPs) would provide us with an ideal stage for fascinating physical and chemical phenomena. We found an interconversion of nuclear-spin isomers for hydrogen molecule H 2 adsorbed in a Hofmann-type PCP, {Fe(pz)[Pd(CN) 4 ]} (pz=pyrazine), by the temperature dependence of Raman spectra. The ortho (o)–para (p) conversion process of H 2 is forbidden for an isolated molecule.
