Websites are one of the most frequently used communication environments, and creating sustainable web designs should be an objective for all companies. The synthesis of crystals with a high surface-to-volume ratio is essential for innovative, high-performance electronic devices and sensors. The easiest way to achieve this in integrated devices with electronic circuits is through the synthesis of high-aspect-ratio nanowires aligned vertically to the substrate surface. On-chip purification of arc-discharge synthesized multiwalled carbon nanotubes via mobile liquid interface

This thesis reports a novel approach for purification of carbon nanotube (CNT) samples deposited on smooth silicon substrates through a mobile liquid interface interacting with carbonaceous debris particles that contaminate the deposition. The method is based on physical interaction of the particles and the three-phase contact line via capillary interface forces, i.e. the surface tension, which results in the detachment of chemically indispersible colloids from the sample surface. Withdrawal from chronic ethanol leads to a multifaceted syndrome, characterized by negative affective state. Novelty seeking and motivation, closely related to affective state, can be assessed in rodents exploring behavioural response to novelty. This study aims at assessing novelty-related behaviour in female rats during ethanol withdrawal following different self-administration patterns. Female rats underwent 9-week-, 2-bottle choice-, continuous or intermittent (3 days/week) access to 20% ethanol; they were named CARs and IARs respectively. La srategia dell'intervento di riqualificazione di via della Vittoria, che attraversa tutto il centro urbano di Menfi, prevede di potenziare il ruolo degli spazi aperti, considerandoli materia di connessione tra fatti urbani diversi, sia alla scala generale urbana che a quella del tessuto della città storica. Sono stati descritti alcuni caratteri e condizioni per definire i modi di intervento: le relazioni tra spazi aperti, le possibili permeazioni, mai dirette, tra via della Vittoria e via Garibaldi (asse di fondazione della città), le unità suscettibili di trasformazione.
