Background Nutrient deficiency affects the growth and population dynamics of consumers. Endoparasites can be seen as consumers that drain carbon (C) or energy from their host while simultaneously competing for limiting resources such as phosphorus (P). Depending on the relative demands of the host and the parasite for the limiting nutrient, intensified resource competition under nutrient limitation can either reduce the parasite’s effect on the host or further reduce the fitness of the nutrient-limited host. Maģistra darba “Augšdevona ūdens horizontu apūdeņojošie parametri un to saistība Latvijas teritorijā” galvenais mērķis ir, izmantojot pieejamos urbumu datus, atrast sakarības starp augšdevona ūdens horizontu apūdeņotību raksturojošiem parametriem – caurplūdes koeficientu T un īpatnējo debitu q. Izpildot izvirzītos uzdevumus secināts, ka pastāv sakarības starp ūdens horizontu apūdeņotību raksturojošām q un T vērtībām, bet šīs sakarības ticamību būtiski ietekmē ūdens horizontu veidojošie nogulumi, galvenokārt, to viendabīgums. Nav konstatēts kāds izteikts parametrs ar ļoti būtisku ietekmi - vairāku faktoru mijiedarbība raksturo apūdeņotību Latvijā.
