A Novel Wireless Sensor Network for Electric Power Metering

Wireless sensor network with lightweight and efficient communication infrastructures are today a great interest, both at research and industrial level, as they are the basis for reliable monitoring services. Mesh networks are ideal candidates in this scenario, as they can be very fault-tolerant. After introducing wireless network systems requirements, we show the design of a mesh network routing protocol based on AODV schemas. Its implementation runs on top of low-cost off-the-shelf components, and allowed us to build a custom power meter wireless sensor node.

In a study of 106 sunfish, Mola mola (L.), from Mediterranean waters, 2,731 worms, belonging to 2 congeneric species of accacoeliids, Accacladocoelium macrocotyle (Diesing, 1858) Robinson, 1934 and Accacladocoelium nigroflavum (Rudolphi, 1819) Robinson, 1934 , were collected from the digestive system. It is often difficult to differentiate between these 2 species as they are sympatric and very similar; in fact, according to previous descriptions, the extent of the vitellarium is the only interspecific difference, described as extending posteriorly to the ovary in A. macrocotyle and as anterior to the anterior testis in A. nigroflavum. On the occurrence of the silverstripe blaasop Lagocephalus sceleratus (Gmelin, 1789) along the Libyan coast

Five individuals of Lagocephalus sceleratus were caught by trammel and gill nets off Ain Al Ghazala, Libya (approximately 32°09'N − 23°15'E) between 15 and 25 m depth in September 2010. Our findings represent the first record of this toxic species from Libya and provide further evidence of its occurrence along North African coasts.

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Reliģiskie motīvi Tan dinastijas tušas gleznotāja Vu Daodzi daiļradē”. Maģistra darbā tiek analizētas Tan (唐Tang 618.-907.) dinastijas tušas gleznotāja Vu Daodzi saglabātās gravīras un tušas darbu kopijas. Tēma ir izvēlēta, jo Vu Daodzi Tan dinastijas kritiķi uzskatīja mākslinieku par huašen (画圣 huan sheng) mākslas gudro vīru. Savukārt Tan dinastijas periods ir izvēlēts, jo šis laiks Ķīnas kultūrā tiek dēvēts par “zelta laikmetu”, kad attīstījās ne tikai valsts, bet gan arī dzeja, literatūra, ekonomika un politika. Galvenais darba apskatāmais temats: daoisma koncepcija akupunktūrā. Daoisms ir ticības sistēma un filozofija, kuru var uzskatīt par vienu no ķīniešu kultūras pamatiem.
