Las autoras de este artículo reflexionan sobre los cierres y recortes en recursos de servicios sociales en general y de atención a las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género en particular, concluyendo que es la ideología mercantilista aplicada a los recursos sociales de atención a los más necesitados, la principal causante de que estos no funcionen adecuadamente y de que las mujeres víctimas de violencia en muchos casos no reciban la atención que seria necesaria.

Objective Clinical perfectionism has been found to be a risk and maintaining factor in eating disorders (EDs), compulsive exercise, and athlete burnout. This study investigated whether an unguided internet cognitive–behavioral treatment (ICBT) for perfectionism would reduce ED pathology, compulsive exercise, and burnout in individuals who engage in regular exercise. Method Participants were randomly allocated to intervention (n = 38) or waitlist control (n =29). A generalized linear mixed model (GLMM) analysis was conducted pre and post treatment. How paradoxical is ‘paradoxical’ outcome? : Different pathways and implications

The present special issue includes single and multiple case studies which report on the phenomenon of ‘paradoxical’ outcomes in psychotherapy, operationalized as discordant outcome assessments within the same case. In an attempt to find ground for my published response, I endeavored to juxtaposition the cases from the different studies, and by doing that gain an overview of the contributions and arguments. As a result of that exercise, I suggest three different types of paradoxical outcome with different pathways and implications.
