Background: This article is motivated by the fact that most approaches to capital budgeting are deterministic. In reality, the capital budgeting problem is accompanied by the uncertainty and risk associated with dealing with imprecise data. Taking this uncertainty into account when performing analyses and calculations not only helps to better measure the profitability of investment projects, but also to expand the applicability of capital budgeting methods under real-life or uncertain conditions. Työn tarkoituksena oli tutkia mitä on turvallisuusviestintä ja erityisesti miten turvallisuusviestintää toteutetaan rakennusalan organisaatiossa. Tarkoituksena oli tuottaa tietoa, jonka avulla turvallisuusviestintää voitaisiin edelleen kehittää. Peer interaction and pioneering organizational form adoption : A tale of the first two for-profit stock exchanges

Building on a historical case study on the first two stock exchanges to adopt the now globally dominant for-profit organizational form, the Stockholm Stock Exchange in 1993 and the Helsinki Stock Exchange in 1995, we argue that interaction among socially proximate peers contributes to pioneering organizational form adoption within an industry, particularly when such forms are introduced by established organizations. Peer interaction can induce a search for technically efficient organizational forms through the sharing of collective experiences, the establishment of collective assumptions, and a joint search for solutions. Il saggio ricostruisce le vicende che, in linea con quanto avviene in altri aree, portano nel Quattrocento a una riorganizzazione delle strutture ospedaliere palermitane, con l'aggregazione delle tante piccole realtà assistenziali presenti nel territorio. A chiusura del saggio sono pubblicati i capitoli inediti del 1431 presentati dall'universitas di Palermo all'arcivescovo de Marinis per l'approvazione dell'unione degli ospedali in un solo, grande e nuovo, ente assistenziale.

Hodgkin's lymphoma is a very common haematological neoplasm with high possibilities of response to treatment. On the other hand, therapies are often responsible for clinically relevant complications. Among these is osteonecrosis, generally determined by the high dosages of corticosteroids included in the chemotherapeutic protocols, which lead to bone ischemia through multifactorial mechanisms such as hypercoagulability and increase of intraosseous pressure due to hyperplasia of the adipose component. TRATTAMENTO DELLA OSTEONECROSI DELLE OSSA MASCELLARI FARMACO-RELATA (ONJ)

Il trattamento di ONJ è, dalla sua comparsa in letteratura, argomen- to molto dibattuto, prima, come osteonecrosi delle ossa mascellari (BRONJ) associata a bisfosfonati (BP), recentemente un’ulteriore complessità si è aggiunta con l’identificazione di numerose molecole di nuova generazione, diverse dai BP, in grado di favorire lo sviluppo di ONJ (definite nel presente testo “non-BRONJ”); queste molecole, nei pazienti oncologici per lesioni scheletriche, sono prescritte più o meno in associazione o in sequenza con i BP stessi (e.g. denosu- mab, inibitori delle tirosin-kinasi, anticorpi monoclonali anti-VEGF, inibitori di mTOR)1–3.
