Como primera adaptación cinematográfica de la novela de Blasco Ibáñez, esta película estableció el canon estético-temático del cine taurino posterior. Bakalaura darbā ir pētīta VirtualRealiy iekārta un tās pielietošanas iespējas redzes uztveres uzdevumos. Tika izveidots režģu virziena uztveres adaptācijas uzdevums ahromātiskajiem un krāsainajiem stimuliem, kuru var veikt ar VirtualReality iekārtas un viedtālruņa palīdzību. Adaptācijas uzdevums tika veikts pie dažādiem adaptācijas laikiem un mainīga vienas acs stimula kontrasta. Tāpat tika noteikti un salīdzināti viedtālruņu starojuma spektri, lai novērtētu dažādu displeju pielietojums šādu redzes uztveres uzdevumu izpildei. Environmental stress is a major driver of ecological and evolutionary processes in nature. To cope with stress, organisms can adjust through phenotypic plasticity and/or adapt through genetic change. Here, we compared short-term behavioural (activity) and physiological (corticosterone levels, CORT) responses of Rana arvalis tadpoles from two divergent populations (acid origin, AOP, versus neutral origin, NOP) to acid and predator stress. Maģistra darba „Virtuālā atbalsta sistēma jaunajiem skolotājiem adaptācijai izglītības iestādē” mērķis ir noskaidrot un izpētīt kāda atbalsta sistēma būtu nepieciešama, lai palīdzētu jaunajiem skolotājiem adaptēties izglītības iestādē. Darba aktualitāte ir pamatojama ar to, ka Latvijā, atšķirībā no citu ES valstu veiksmīgiem piemēriem, valsts līmenī nav izstrādāta atbalsta programma jaunajiem skolotājiem. Tika veikts aptaujas pētījums, kurā dati iegūti ar anketu 95 jaunajiem skolotājiem, anketu 84 topošajiem un esošajiem skolotājiem, 4 dažādām fokusgrupas diskusijām kopskaitā 90 studentiem. ABSTRACT Recent reports suggest that nuclear domain(s) 10 (ND10) is the site of papillomavirus morphogenesis. The viral genome replicates in or close to ND10. In addition, the minor capsid protein, L2, accumulates in these subnuclear structures and recruits the major capsid protein, L1. We have now used cell lines deficient for promyelocytic leukemia (PML) protein, the main structural component of ND10, to study the role of this nuclear protein for L2 incorporation into virus-like particles (VLPs). ABSTRACT Studies of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) replication cycle have been made possible with the development of subgenomic selectable RNAs that replicate autonomously in cultured cells. In these replicons the region encoding the HCV structural proteins was replaced by the neomycin phosphotransferase gene, allowing the selection of transfected cells that support high-level replication of these RNAs. Subsequent analyses revealed that, within selected cells, HCV RNAs had acquired adaptive mutations that increased the efficiency of colony formation by an unknown mechanism. The unpredictability of coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) poses a major burden on health care and economic systems across the world.
