Il nostro studio è stato effettuato presso un centro antiviolenza ad indirizzo segreto ed è stato possibile esplorare le caratteristiche delle famiglie di origine, indagare e valutare lo stato della mente dei genitori in merito alle esperienze di attaccamento vissute con le proprie figure di riferimento, approfondire il tema degli attaccamenti multipli e quello della trasmissione intergenerazionale degli stili di attaccamento. Il nucleo familiare preso in esame è composto, complessivamente, da 5 partecipanti:

Carers of patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) experience high levels of distress. Several studies have been carried out on interventions designed to decrease their burden. However, the evidence from these studies has not been summarized. The objective of this work is to explore the clinical utility of interventions developed for family members of patients with BPD.
