In the study of complex biomedical systems represented by multivariate stochastic processes, such as the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, an issue of great relevance is the description of the system dynamics spanning multiple temporal scales. Se analizan las piezas de hueso, asta y marfil del yacimiento ibérico de Covalta desde un punto de vista tipológico, tecnológico y funcional. Se han podido documentar las distintas fases del proceso de producción de objetos terminados sobre hueso y asta, lo que nos permite señalar la existencia de un taller de fabricación de piezas sobre estas dos materias primas dentro del poblado.
