Krājumā apkopotās tēzes sniedz padziļinātu, starpdisciplināros pētījumos balstītu arheoloģiskajos izrakumos iegūtā materiāla analīzi, atspoguļo jaunus arheoloģiskā materiāla interpretāciju meklējumus, apskata jaunāko tehnoloģiju (3D) izmantošanas iespējas arheoloģisko pieminekļu reljefa un kultūrainavas modelēšanā, arheoloģisko pieminekļu apzināšanas teorētiskos un metodiskos aspektus, risina kultūru izplatības hronoloģijas, dzimtes u.c. problēmas. Etnogrāfu pētījumos aplūkoti materiālā un nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma, kas saistīts ar tekstīlijām, rokdarbu vēsturi, krāsām un krāsošanu, jautājumi.

Vuoden 2020 alusta kieltenopiskelu on aloitettu Suomessa vuosiluokalla 1. Opetussuunnitelman perusteissa korostetaan, että opetuksen tulee olla ikätasolle sopivaa ja herättää myönteinen asenne kielenoppimiseen sekä vahvistaa oppilaan pystyvyyttä. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan suomen- ja ruotsinkielisten koulujen oppilaiden asennoitumista ja osaamiskäsityksiä. Tutkimuksen kohteen on englannin kielen (suomenkieliset koulut, n=106) ja suomi toisena kotimaisena kielenä -oppiaineen (ruotsinkieliset koulut, n=86) opiskelu. Abstract We describe a Sicilian family presenting a recessive form of hypercholesterolemia harboring a mutation of the autosomal recessive hypercholesterolemia (ARH) gene. In two of the three sibs, a 26-year-old male and a 22-year-old female, a severe hypercholesterolemia was diagnosed with very high levels of plasma cholesterol (15.9 and 12.2 mmol/l, respectively); tendon xanthomatas and xanthelasms were present and in the male proband was documented a diffuse coronary atherosclerotic disease with a rapid and fatal progression. Temperament and Early Intentions to Retire

Abstract Objective: To examine associations between temperament traits and early retirement intentions. Methods: In the Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1966, we analyzed early retirement intentions at the age 46 according to Cloninger temperament traits at the age 46 (n = 4409) and at the age 31 (n = 3226). Ordinal logistic regression analyses were used. Adjustments were made for marital status, education, work type, job satisfaction, perceived health, and mental health problems. AbstractSensitivity to human faces has been suggested to be an early emerging capacity that promotes social interaction. However, the developmental processes that lead to cortical specialization to faces has remained unclear. The current study investigated both cortical sensitivity and categorical specificity through event-related potentials (ERPs) previously implicated in face processing in 7-month-old infants (N290) and adults (N170). In the first season of the television Eco Noir crime series “Fortitude” (2015) the polar bear appears as a sticky object that embodies an ambiguous affective charge as an icon of global warming. This article discusses the ways in which the polar bear evokes viewer affect in the series through two discourses. The first one relates to violence, essentially present in crime narratives, and how the human and nonhuman animal are positioned in relation to global warming, violence and each other.
