Doktorgradsavhandling i informasjons- og kommunikasjonsteknologi, Universitetet i Agder, 2014 This PhD dissertation investigates two necessary means that are required for building privacy-enhanced network monitoring systems: a policy-based privacy or confidentiality enforcement technology; and metrics measuring leakage of private or confidential information to verify and improve these policies. Valuing American Options with Implementation

Master's thesis Business Administration BE501 - University of Agder 2017 This master thesis aims to value American put options by using di erent numerical methods. Three valuation methods for valuing an American put option will be pre- sented and analyzed; the binomial method, the implicit nite di erence method and the least squares Monte Carlo approach (LSM). Due to the opportunity of early exercise of American option contracts, our goal is to nd the optimal exercise strategy which maximizes the payo by using numerical methods. We provide examples of how to implement each algorithm in di erent types of software. A comparison of the methods are given at the end.

Koka ēkas Tallinas ielā 84, Rīgā, iegāde, renovācija un atpūtas centra "Grīziņkalns" izveide

Maģistra darba mērķis ir veicināt Grīziņkalna koka arhitektūras attīstību. Grīziņkalna teritorija ir iekļauta Rīgas vēsturiskā centra aizsardzības zonā un koka ēkas tajā ir saglabājušās no 19. gs. sākuma. Koka arhitektūras loma pilsētvides attīstībā un tās izmantošanas iespējas ekonomiskās aktivitātes veicināšanai netiek pietiekami pētītas, tāpēc autore darba ietvaros veica visu Grīziņkalna koka ēku novērtēšanu. Rezultātā tika izvēlēta viena koka ēka un izstrādāts projekts “Koka ēkas Tallinas ielā 84, Rīgā, iegāde, renovācija un atpūtas centra “Grīziņkalns” izveide”.

Maģistra darba “Paplašinātās realitātes rīku izmantošana mārketingā komunikācijā ar auditoriju” mērķis ir izvērtēt paplašinātās realitātes rīku ietekmi un to zemo izmantošanas aptveri mārketingā ceļā uz stimulētu patērētāju uzvedību pirkumu veikšanas procesā Latvijā un izvirzīt priekšlikumus galvenokārt mārketinga jomā strādājošajiem paplašinātās realitātes rīku izmantošanai uzņēmējdarbībā. Pētījuma hipotēze tika apstiprināta un secināts, ka Latvijā ir sasniedzams paplašinātās realitātes attīstības potenciāls, tomēr rīku sniegtā vērtība un uzņēmēju resursu un izpratnes trūkums rada šķēršļus patērētāju pieredzei, lai tehnoloģiju akceptētu.
